What did you guys think of the last season (now that it's officially over)?

Last season, particularly the ending, was as raw as I have ever seen things. We knew the main character was lying to us most of the season, and it caused the viewers to boil over with rage. That, in turn, allowed the viewers to get a glimps of the real bushie. The anger. The sadness. The frustration. His reliance on god, especially as things deteriorated. I have a feeling this season may be more of the same, with a bit more Jesus sprinkled in with the impending trip to Kenya.

What exactly does being another male voice for the orphans entail?  What exactly is it that you'll be doing?

And are you still using money from your mother for your porn subscriptions?

Male voice may not be the proper term, but another male in the administration of the Orphanage from child sponsorship to building projects on the grounds to travel arrangements for teams from the United States, etc.

And do you have any experience doing any type of administrative work, building anything, or making international travel arrangements?

I do have experience doing administrative work.  I'm going to school for the building plans.  No experience in the international travel arrangements.

What administrative work?  And going to school to make building plans is a lot different than actually doing the building on the ground.

I'm an administrator at the church - church clerk for instance.  I've also got experience overseeing the administration of a summer camp for two straight summers, as well as actually doing the work that I was administering.

I'm going in for architecture - building plans, blueprints, etc.  I'm not going in for construction.  You kidding?  These Kenya workers, whom I had the privilege to work alongside last year building the medical clinic, put even the most experienced American foreman to shame.  They laughed when we Americans had to take a break every hour in 90 degree equatorial heat.  You know what?  They are pretty darn efficient at that, too.  My job would be to design the building plans and then hiring the contractors to actually build the structures.  I am not cut out for construction.  I tried road construction in March 2005 and I couldn't even make it 3 days...

Did no one noticed the hilarity in this post? No offense, pal, but I am sure they were laughing at you and others who were probably overweight trying to build houses in Kenya. Tongue

I can assure you other areas of the country have very skilled carpenters and foreman in this country.

bushie do your parents have any idea of your porn addiction?

I don't think it's an addiction. I think most males watch porn, especially if they are not in a relationship (my ex-girlfriend forbid me from watching it because "she should satisfy me enough") but otherwise, there isn't anything wrong. It's just wrong he pays for it. Especially with his parents money.

To be fair, all the Kenyan construction workers were laughing at all us Snow White Americans!  We had to take a break every half hour in the 92 degree heat and bright equatorial sun.  They got there at daybreak (7:00) and left at dusk (6:30).  We were pooped after 3 hours...  Most of the team works in the labor field, and they were still put to shame!

Yes, yes, but even then, America's best talent is not going to be in Kenya working for missionaries. Tongue

Well, you did get your old ONG job with that degree, which would have been a stable job for you long term. Your fixation with call centers was quite a bizarre one, but then again...

Jeez, I can't believe he had that many porn subscriptions. And his parents were funding them to boot! How did they not know? My parents always ask what X charges are on my cards if they look fishy.

Grumps, we're all pitching in for dinner.

Duke, including PB, I only had four.

Inks, there's something called procrastination.  I am really good at that!

Yes, it's easy to procrastinate when it comes to stopping using other people's money.  Which is what makes all of this even more despicable.  You're cracking jokes about the fact that you're defrauding your parents out of money to pay for online porn... that's pretty twisted.

I know, but I've stopped them now and looking for a way to kill the PB. It's bad, but I'm not bad.

If you're trying to get me to feel guilty, bring your lunch!

What do you mean trying to find a way? It's hard to cancel it? Or you just can't bring yourself to say goodbye?

Guys, Bushie just doesn't want to cancel PB yet. He said there is a show he likes to watch, a show you probably have a hard time finding on the torrents, and he is not ready to part with it yet.

I bet he never cancels this subscription.

One of the biggest developments of season 7 is that Bushie is aware of how awful he can be, yet instead of repenting, he is telling Inks "yeah, I'm bad, tough sh*t!"

I fully expect he will find a lady now and become a pimp by the end of the season.

OK, and what about "failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations"?

You have credit card debt; you're borrowing from your parents; you have a house you can't afford; you haven't held a job for more than a few months.  How do you feel that you're not consistently irresponsible?

Oh, Inks. You're just wasting your time. Bushie is trolling you now. I am sure he is not this delusional. If he is, well, oh my goodness.

Not delusional, just refusing to be rattled.

There is nothing wrong with admitting to shortcomings. We all must fess up to them sometimes. If we don't, we never learn from our mistakes.

But to each his own.

Bushie has entered a grieving stage. Right now he is in full denial of the state of his life. Anger will soon follow. Stay tuned.

Sassy Bushie has to be a troll or otherwise, he is actually the real life snake oil salesman preacher type that scams people and leeches off others all in the name of "god." It seems too obvious to be true. Methinks he's just trolling Inks tonight because he knows he can get a rise out of him.

I read a study once that you can fast for two days and then eat on the third, rinse and repeat, because it takes your body three days to shut down your metabolism, and once it does that, of course, anything you eat will be stored as fat.

Bushie will never lose weight until he gets his diet under control, and frankly, I don't think he nor his parents even have the foggiest idea how to eat properly. Between the burgers, the roasts, the enchilada casseroles, and multitude of desserts, I just cannot see how it's even possible he will change. That's no offense to him. It will just take tremendous curiosity and discipline, neither of what he has, to make such a change.

You're essentially telling him to change all he's ever known. His whole culture it tailored towards obesity and country living. It's a concept foreign to many of us.

Carbs are your enemy. Seriously. It spikes your insuline which tells your body to store fat. Snack on something else like nuts or other protein.

This is my point. All of Bushie's meals revolve around carbs - bread, fat, sugar, etc.

Good Friday Afternoon!  I've got a pretty good size headache, but its probably from not eating much.  Since I have overeaten way too much the past two days, I haven't had anything so far today.  I will have supper in about 2 hours at 17:00, though, so I'll be alright.  Tonight, I plan on watching some baseball on MLB Network at 19:00 either the Yankees vs. Royals or Angels vs. White Sox.

I doubt its from not eating. You may be dehydrated or something. Likely not because you haven't eaten enough.

Claiming your headache was from not eating is just a cop out, especially since you also took a pill, yet conveniently gave credit to eating to explain why it went away... Tongue

Yes, if you have high blood pressure, ask your doctor how to diet, but normally headaches come from dehydration. I haven't heard of someone getting a headache from not eating.

Medically, I've never heard of not being to cause a headache. I'm not just making up facts. You were probably dehydrated.

In any event, you may need to make sure your medication doesn't require you to eat. My grandmother was diabetic in her later years and had to eat once every few hours. You dieting may be more difficult than the rest of us given your extensive list of health conditions.

Do you ever put your sermons online? I'd love to hear one. Your brand of Christianity is fascinating compared to the Greeks.

No, it only goes back about a year due to space, and I haven't preached on a Sunday morning in over a year.  Our Music Minister, Don, has preached a couple times and his messages are on there.

What's even more amazing is that you let just anyone preach! You don't have to be ordained or anything? Or have any education?
