I had some pretty good ones that I canceled early this morning.  I can't mention them on the forum by name.  As far as PB, I only signed up because there was one show I like to watch on there.  They just started a new season of the show, but I can't find a way to watch it live online and they haven't posted the new episodes online, yet.

Nix, I do have a four-year bachelor's degree from a regional university called Northwestern Oklahoma State University.  I didn't pick the right degree, I picked for of a fad degree - "E-Commerce", but I still have something no one can ever take away from me.  I had thoughts of getting my master's while I was working at Dell and had even signed up and paid to take my GMAT entrance exam to an MBA program at the University of Central Oklahoma.  For whatever reason, I chickened out and ended up not taking the test (I did get my money back).  Now, I think going back and basically starting over is better than getting a higher degree.  I still think I can use my degree, especially my Computer Science Minor, but I just haven't found anything to use it at.

E-Commerce (Electronic Commerce) is doing business over the Internet.  Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Sears.com, eBay, etc are all Electronic Commerce.  E-Commerce is used everyday, but there's not a degree needed for most e-commerce related activities.  In hind sight it was very much a fad degree when I chose it in 2001.  It looked like a good idea at the time, but it never prospered, and now the school ceased offering it as a major around 2008 or 2009.  They started offering it in 2000, but ceased just 8 or 9 years later.

Well, folks, I am about to get ready and head over to Grandma's in a few minutes and play some games with Company, most likely Dominoes.  We're going out to eat tonight at a Mexican Restaurant in Choctaw tonight that is just 2.5 miles from my Grandmother's house.  We'll be eating at 17:00 so we can get home in case the storms roll in sooner than what they expect.  Right now, they're thinking we should get storms between 19:00 and 23:00 with the most likely time after 20:00, but these storms could move faster than what they think.  Most likely threat, large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado is possible.  It's not going to be a classic May day of severe weather, but it could still get pretty rowdy.  The dynamics just aren't in place and the system is too weak to produce a widespread tornado outbreak.  If the storms threaten, I may leave my car under Grandma's carport again and spend the night with them.  I'm not about to total my car for no reason.

They'll be gone in less than 48 hours, then she won't have any more company until June 26 through July 4 when her other daughter and son-in-law come back.  They were here for 3 weeks in April, and they'll be back again in late June and again in late September/October.  My sister-in-law and niece will likely come in August.  So, we're going to have a lot of company from now through about Halloween.

Yeah... I mean, it's fraud.  He portrays himself out as poor and needy, but he's really not that needy.  Sure, he didn't actually ask for the money, but that doesn't really matter.  When a CEO of a company lies about a company's product and drives the stock up, he isn't forcing anyone to buy the stock, but it's still wrong and unethical.  And while what Bushie does isn't illegal, it's just as unethical as fraud in the stock market.  If anything, it's more unethical, because he's defrauding people of money in the name of God and charity.

I've only had these subscriptions since April 1.  A couple of them were April 16.  That's no lie.  My conscience bothers me too much to keep them more than 2-3 months at a time.

What exactly does being another male voice for the orphans entail?  What exactly is it that you'll be doing?

Male voice may not be the proper term, but another male in the administration of the Orphanage from child sponsorship to building projects on the grounds to travel arrangements for teams from the United States, etc.

I do have experience doing administrative work.  I'm going to school for the building plans.  No experience in the international travel arrangements.

What administrative work?  And going to school to make building plans is a lot different than actually doing the building on the ground.

I'm an administrator at the church - church clerk for instance.  I've also got experience overseeing the administration of a summer camp for two straight summers, as well as actually doing the work that I was administering.

I'm going in for architecture - building plans, blueprints, etc.  I'm not going in for construction.  You kidding?  These Kenya workers, whom I had the privilege to work alongside last year building the medical clinic, put even the most experienced American foreman to shame.  They laughed when we Americans had to take a break every hour in 90 degree equatorial heat.  You know what?  They are pretty darn efficient at that, too.  My job would be to design the building plans and then hiring the contractors to actually build the structures.  I am not cut out for construction.  I tried road construction in March 2005 and I couldn't even make it 3 days...

Did no one noticed the hilarity in this post? No offense, pal, but I am sure they were laughing at you and others who were probably overweight trying to build houses in Kenya.

I can assure you other areas of the country have very skilled carpenters and foreman in this country.
