Canada requires one to have skills, money or refugee status before you get to live there.  Most of the people saying they'd move only have one of three, and that's controlled by their parents.
So I guess they better go to Mexico then. I hear the weathers nicer, the weed is cheaper, and the healthcare freer.

If TRUMP's plans fell apart badly, then Americans probably would be given refugee status?

Lol. How dare she say something nice about someone at their funeral! She should drop out. This is almost as bad as that time Trent Lott said something nice about someone at their 100th Birthday celebration and had to resign. Seriously, the public reads way too much into general courtesy.

DFB is a top-10 if not top-5 poster, and the fact that Drumpf edgelords now feel comfortable throwing sh*t at him is the ultimate proof that they have no sense of shame.

Let's just take a while to think about the absurdity of this post:

Just donated to the Bernie campaign. I realized it's a bit hypocritical for me to act all excited and everything when I haven't been contributing in any way. Obviously it's not a big deal, but it's better than nothing.

Is that legal?

...

I haven't seen anything that would suggest otherwise. Should I be worried?!?

I assume you're not a US citizen. Unless you hold a green card (do you?) you're going to get Bernie sent to jail for campaign finance violations.

Seriously though, can I get in trouble? No, I don't have a green card.
The fact that you feel the need to post this in this thread is absurdity.

Still, you'd think the Sanders fundraising page would include a check-box with something like "Are you a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident?" It's a pain for them if they get donations from ineligible donors and then have to sort things out with the FEC.

It's very hard to tell imho. On the one hand it's a caucus state, which favors Bernie. But on the other hand it's Obama's alleged birth state, which ought to make it Hillary territory.

Wait another 10-20 years. Eventually the Democrats will wear out their welcome. There's also data suggesting that the post-Millennial generation (born in 1996 or afterward) is already trending more conservative than the Millennials, and it's likely that Millennials themselves will become more conservative after a while, considering it's very difficult to be more liberal than they already are. It could happen in 10 years, or it could happen in 20 years, but it will happen.

Yeah, it included that. Antonio had overlooked it. Still not a particularly bizarre idea that it would be legal for foreigners to donate to political campaigns, even if this is not the case in the US. I mean, I definitely see why it's not allowed, but the idea is just not so absurd or bad that it deserves to be mentioned in this thread.

It said it at the bottom of the page (and I'm fully at fault for not scrolling down to read it) but there was no check-box or anything of the like.

Fair enough. My comment was not even meant to criticize Antonio, on the contrary actually. But yes, water under the bridge, and let's not "wake up sleeping dogs", as we say in Dutch.

I've had it with lesser of 2 evils. You know, the lesser of 2 evils won the 1932 German Presidential election....

So, jfern is trying to say that Hillary beats Trump and then, after less than a year, appoints him her Vice President and die?

MAKES PERFECT SENSE

It's happened about two dozen times this year.  Protesters standing or lying in the middle of major highways, chaining themselves together or to their cars... one of the groups even stuck their arms into barrels, handcuffed themselves together inside the barrels, and then filled the barrels with concrete.  They often do it during rush hour, blocking traffic up for miles and miles and stopping thousands, if not tens of thousands of people, in traffic for hours.  Ambulances, fire trucks, police vehicles and other municipal and emergency vehicles have also been reported as not being able to do their jobs.

Are you in favor of this, like evertroll, or do you think it's an absolute disgrace and these people should be fined heavily and imprisoned, like Lyin' Steve?

Even if you agree with him on that, there's no excuse for that type of arrogance.
