Does anyone honestly think that Loeffler isn't a robot?

Just a reminder that if Loeffler wins she immediately gets to do all of this again in two years.

I'm kind of shocked she even made it into the runoff tbh.

She only managed to do so because her fealty to Trump was somehow valued more, probably due to her being an incumbent Senator, than Collins'-you know, the guy who had a public tantrum during the House impeachment hearings. Yeah, that's not enough for Trump and his sycophantic base for whatever reason.

Both are pretty mediocre. Loeffler is completely plastic and fake. Warnock is pretty underwhelming and hasn't attacked Loeffler well. Didn't defend himself well either.

The socialism thing is what Democrats have to try to tamp down from now on

It's all Republicans talk about, socialism, socialism, etc.

Also, the police thing is killing Democrats electorally.

I wonder if the Georgia police unions made any endorsements.....

She clearly has never picked up a bible, but she insists on arguing with a Reverend about what a verse mean. The voters that she needs are less religious anyway and are the type that only attend church on Christmas or when Amy Grant shows up to do a concert. They aren't that caught up on verses.

Either one of them would be DOA in 2022

Yeah, but Warnock is still miles ahead of Loeffler. Regardless, Ossoff is the best politician of the four.

Yeah, Ossoff actually did fairly well in his debate. I don't think his brand is particularly great, but he did well in the debate

Kelly just isn't a very smart person. Her actual words and ideas are just really uninspiring. Like you could just pick a random Georgian off the street they could give a more substantial and intellectually complicated stump speech.

I think she has to keep it simple in order to appeal to the voters she needs to turn out in this election. The Republican coalition is, well, I'll just say they certainly aren't the brightest people you might run into down south. Simplified and repeated phrases that click with whatever Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson hammer home is really all any of these Republicans have done in their debates this year.

Well yeah. He's just an absurdly good speaker. Ossoff's stump speeches about how corrupt Purdue is are just pure entertainment to watch.

You don't prefer listening to Senator Kelly Loeffler talking about how Radical Liberal Raphael Warnock is a Radical Liberal?

I don't think senate debates matter all that much. People made such a big deal about Ernst not knowing the price of corn/soy, and how Susan Collins did horrible in the first debate.

Hello fellow human. Do you not agree that Radical Liberal Raphael Warnock is a Radical Liberal, and therefore if Radical Liberal Raphael Warnock is a Radical Liberal, he cannot be trusted to represent Georgia?

Overall, not sure if this will really have an impact, though, I don't think Loeffler helped herself. She sounded very scripted and uncharismatic, and didn't seem to turn on the Trump base or the small group of swing voters. She's very lucky polarization is as bad as it is, and Warnock is lucky to be running against someone who is a pretty terrible canidate. Loeffler just gives me Ernsts vibes.

I doubt Loeffler will be invited to Ebenezer Baptist or any other Black church after this....

But politicians shouldn't be visiting churches in the first place

I massively disagree.  We need politicians to be men and women of God who are going to church.  Saying that they should not go to church is also establishing a religious test on public office.  I do think that our country would be a much better place if all of our politicians in both parties were exclusively devout, churchgoing Evangelical Protestants.  But, I can't enforce that by law.

Oh my god, I would pay literally all my money to be able to jump into Warnock's body and just trash the s--t out of Loeffler.  I think this is one of those places where the Trump debate strategy is really called for.  Just call her out for relying on the same 4 lies, interrupt her every time she lies, call her a child for continually using the "radical liberal Raphael Warnock" thing, etc.

By the way, leftists, have you noticed that Loeffler's entire strategy to win this debate is to accuse Warnock of supporting "defund the police" and the Green New Deal?  Imagine if we hadn't served up those weapons on a silver platter to the GOP.
He is Black. He can't act like Trump.

Given Ernst did underperform Trump, maybe it did hurt her slightly.

Well, you surely will be supporting Raphael Warnock then.  Loeffler spent the debate attacking Warnock for being a pastor, for being friends with other pastors, for giving sermons on well-known bible verses, and so on.  Warnock, on the other hand, is a pastor -- not just any pastor, but the successor to Martin Luther King Jr.

I would bet my entire net worth that Kelly Loeffler hasn't actually opened a bible once in the last five years.  I've seen no evidence that she is a Christian, and minimal evidence that she's a warm-blooded human at all.

What would Jesus say about Loeffler's non-stop lies?  What would he say about her enriching herself with insider trading while hiding COVID from her constituents?  These are things that are not in dispute.  It's just a matter of priorities -- some of us think these matter, others of us just use abortion as a trump card and prioritize the abortion issue over literally everything else, despite no politician on either side doing anything to change national abortion laws in decades.

I'm surprised that Trump didn't win Suffolk outright; the Back the Blue effect was strong but not enough to win these counties outright

Quite interesting how someone as politically engaged as REP is only saying he would "probably" vote in the Georgia runoffs if he lived in the state. Obviously, one person isn't indicative of the entire GOP, things like this should cause a bit of concern for Republicans. Imagine an Atlas Democrat, for instance, saying they would only "probably", that would be a big sign of trouble nationally, since most Atlas users have a greater understanding of electoral consequences than the average American.
