Yeah, retconning is no good.  It's on players to be clear about their orders.

In retrospect, it was my screwup for not being specific and I'll have to live with the possible(disastrous) consequences.

Nope, just got delayed over research - Hungary in particular -, but didn't want to delay posting what was finished even more. Remaining countries are being posted now.

The Shah accepts the Khan’s word that he is merely welcoming Uthman into the tent and does not consider this a violation of our pact.

Nevertheless, the Shah feels it necessary to warn the Khan: when in the service of the Shah, Uthman led a revolt in the city of Samarkand and massacred the loyal garrison. No, the Kingdom of Jerusalem actually has its capital at Acre at the mo. Richard I secured a rump kingdom, a truce and some rights of pilgrimage but chose after much agonising to turn back from the Holy City itself

For now I intend to go with the mid-turn update on Saturday night, but there's several players that seem to be potentially affected by the climate (I hope nothing bad happens), so I'll be open to extensions if they are required.

I lost it. I wrote the whole thing in Word, the software collapsed and for the first time it actually deleted the document! For the love of GOD!

I'll rewrite it from memory (among other things, we'll see some interesting reactions to the Crusade within Europe, visit the Holy Roman Empire and a couple of surprises) in the morning, I'm too pissed off at the computer right now and would run the risk of hitting it with a hammer in frustration.

There should be a temp file if you wrote it in word. Might be at "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\"
