It's not important, it was just funny...I wonder if it was intentional.  Like saying "nucular".

I think Kerry is slightly ahead on the Domestic Issue.

Kerry is bringing up the Deficiet.

Bush is getting whiny again. this is what I hate about Bush's personality.

Kerry is standing tall, and being direct. He also didn't say internets Smiley

They nominated someone too liberal; Bush is hitting him hard on taxes and his Senate record.

I don't understand....Bush is saying that Kerry MUST raise taxes because he is proposing new spending.  But Bush has done all sorts of new spending and hasn't raised taxes, so why will Kerry necessarily raise taxes because he has proposed new spending?

Gibson has asked 3 times how Bush plans to cut the deficit in half, and Bush hasn't even attempted to answer once.

Bush backed up his claim well by citing Kerry's Senate record.

That is what he failed to do in 2000.

So far, this is going like I expected.

Gibson asked Kerry the same question, and he just rejected Bush's claim without explaining how he would do it.

Because Bush doesn't have to balance the budget. Kerry has promised to do so.

Because Kerry is liberal (have you heard?) so he's bad and evil and loves government and money and will raise everyone's taxes by 500%, remember?

Bush was even ready for the environmental question. So far, I think so good. Better than expected from Bush.

Dream on, Donovan, he's hitting Kerry on taxes.  That is dynamite.  Gibson keeps coming back on how Kerry will do all the spending and deficit reduction, three times; Kerry didn't give him an answer.

Neither of them answered the question, but Bush got more jabs in on Kerry.

Kerry never answered the 2.2 trillion dollar question.  He said Bush's number is phoney.  What is his?

For the first hour of the debates, I give Bush an B+ and Kerry a C+.  Bush picked up a lot of pointers from Cheney's debate, and is laying Kerry's record out on the line and forcing Kerry to defend it, taking time away from responding to the questions.

I know it's relevant, but I still don't like how they keep referring to specific situations and numbers in Missouri.  Distracting.

Bush didn't just stare into the camera and say he wouldn't raise taxes.

The point is though, Bush hasn't actually answered anything... He's giving a lot of unsupported statements and answers.

I am watching the Presidential Debate on C-Span 2. I don't know what you are watching. I don't think, He is a liberal, therefore he will raise your taxes 50000000000000000000000% is a valid argument in the minds of most Americans.

But maybe that is for you, not for me.

Bush was brilliant on the timber company.  Hope it turns out he does not own one.  <G>

Is Bush's entire plan to control health care costs consist of tort reform?  This will decrease costs less than 1%!
