*** ALERT!!  ALERT!! ***
Yes, I know -- I left off Jack Reed (D), the current Senator.  I shouldn't do these so late.

Anyway, use the OTHER option if you wish to choose Senator Reed.  (I did.)

I voted for Pastore, but forgot about Pell.  Please count 1 Pastore vote as a vote for Pell.

Smart thing to say considering Pat's serious alcohol problems.

Nobody's picked Sheldon Whitehouse, your best friend's goofy dad in high school?

By the way, Lincoln Chafee officially realized he wasn't a Republican years ago.

I know...it was an oversight of egregious proportions.  Actually, I was so worried about finding Republicans (lest I be accused of stacking the poll) that I forgot him.  Bah!

Quick question -- Jim Langevin is handicapped, no?  Does anyone know if his condition was accidental or caused by some medical condition?  I am curious because I think it's impressive when any physically-challenged person seeks a life of public service.  I just don't know very much about Langevin.  Any Rhode Islanders care to weigh in?

He was paralyzed by gun going off accidentally while he was a teenager.

Wow...I had never heard that.  Thanks, Johnny.  I'm sorry Langevin has had to endure that, but he sure seems to be making the best of it.
