I'll post some more here soon, but this one is over and it will be double-digits unless there's something unexpected in NoVA.

King & Queen county has a lot of blacks, so I would read too much there.

Does that suggest very low black turnout?

Holy sh**t, yeah. McDonnell is owning so far in old coal country. But he's owning everywhere except Deeds' home base in the Shenandoah. Where Deeds is doing miles better than Obama.

The AP source sucks. Are there any better ones out there?

Well, I think that, in comparison to Obama, any black turnout Deeds was going to get was going to be low, but yes.

It's live streaming, Michael Steele was just speaking...

McDonnell is doing well in inner NoVA so far. 10% or so better than McCain.

McDonnell is doing better than McCain there so I'm guessing that coal areas will move even further away from Obama in 2012.

Arlington (15% in) is 62-38 Deeds. Alexandria (22% in) is 64-36 Deeds. Obama over 70% in each.

Obama won King and Queen County by 52% to 48% last year aganist McCain. It looks as though McDonnell has won it by 59% to 41%.

Folks, with VA, the better comparison is probably Kilgore/Kaine due to the black turnout in 2008.  Not that it looks any prettier for Dems with that model.

McDonnell is even winning in Fairfax County. Surely the networks can call this?

22%

DEEDS           126,707      (36%)
MCDONNELL       226,198      (64%)

It would be terrible and mildly amusing in a sadistic way if McDonnell won over 60%. Probably won't, but it's a ing landslide.

With 1 out of 232 polls. I'd be cautious before be too pessimistic.

In that case the turnaround is greater since Kaine won King and Queen 54-44.

It would be kinda lulz if McDonnell did win Fairfaz County, like you said, in a sadistic way.

The AP is the least modern of them all, thus best adapted to less modern computers.

Wagner is ahead of Deeds by about 2% now. Not nearly enough to win.

Republicans claimed their first House of Delegates takeover: in the 3rd, Will Morefield (R) is ahead of Dan Bowling (D) 57-43 with 62% of precincts in.

Deeds is 'closing the gap', as expected. Of course, he won't win.

Bath County lol. I love favourite son votes.
