Zogby Poll:

1st District:  Albano (D) 53%, Milam (D) 37%, McCann (R) 24%, Donohue (R) 23%, Not Sure 25%.

2nd District: Polistina (R) 36%, Amodeo (R) 33%, Martinez (D) 25%, Floyd (D) 23%, Not Sure 34%.

3rd District: Burzichelli (D) 42%, Villare (R) 24%, Lucas (R) 21%, Riley (D) 21%, Not Sure 34%

4th District: Moriarity (D) 45%, DiCicco (R) 37%, Collins (D) 37%, Lawrence (R) 27%. Not Sure 22%.

9th District: Rumpf (R) 33%, Gove (R) 28%, Visotcky (D) 24%, Rue (D) 24%, Not Sure 42%.

Methodology

The sample is 601 interviews with approximately 20 questions asked from September 14 to 15. Samples are randomly drawn from purchased lists of registered voters. Zogby International surveys employ sampling strategies in which selection probabilities are proportional to population size within area codes and exchanges. Cooperation rates are calculated using one of AAPOR's approved methodologies and are comparable to other professional public-opinion surveys conducted using similar sampling strategies. Weighting by district, age, race and gender is used to adjust for non-response. Margin of error is plus or minus 4.1 percentage points. Margins of error are higher in sub-groups.

You could make up numbers and they'd be about as accurate as Zogby's polls.

That's hilarious actually. Let's see, Obama doesn't want to be seen publicly with Corzine. Yeah, tells you pretty much all you need to know about this race.

Obama avoids these races at his own peril.  He'll be sorry when many Democrats dont care about helping him get reelected in 2012.

I'd be surprised if come election day Daggett reaches 1%.  He seriously nothing but the anti-Corzine candidate, if it looks like Corzine may have a shot, Daggett supporters will bolt to Christie

Daggett will probably get the same 5% that Murray Sabrin got in 1997.  48% of the vote should be more than enough to win this.

And you call me partisan.  Why would people who are voting for Dagget, a socialist canidate, support Christie?  That makes absolutely no sense   My headquarter's internal surveys of Democrats and Independents suggests that 10-15% of respondents are struggling between Corzine and Daggett, but mostly lean towards Corzine.   Pray to God that Daggett gets more than 1% on election day or your canidate is in deep sh%t trouble.

Ga-broing?

Yeah, Daggett is a drain on Corzine's numbers—Christie is pretty solid with Republicans.  Even if Daggett wasn't in the race, though, we should still expect a good five or so percent of the vote to drift off to the numerous third-party candidates in the race.

There needs to be a dramatic shift in this race for Corzine to win. It's just not going to happen with Corzine's favorables at 2:1 negative while Christie's favorables are net positive.  (And the answer isn't dragging Christie through the mud—that tactic's been failing for the last six months. Corzine needs to do something to actually improve his own numebrs.)

In case anyone from outside the state is wondering where the race is going, it's still all about the negative attacks.

Corzine released a new ad hammering Christie's driving record, saying he got preferential treatment by doing the "do you know who I am" thing at a traffic stop.  Christie is hammering Corzine over his trust fund investments (in businesses that the state regulates, of course), leading us all to wonder why he didn't just do the blind trust thing that all rich politicos do.
