Interesting. I guess the JCP/NLC coalition is dead then?

I'm tired of boring presidential elections. ColinW getting re-elected with no serious opposition, was, in hindsight, one of the worst things that could have possibly happened in a game about elections, IMO...

Besides, that was mostly Ebowed's doing. Wink

Well, this is good. Finally, our Governor makes some sense.

In other news, Phil should just join the JCP.

I would be surprised if anyone else got in, & even more surprised if they performed decently. It looks like this election will end up being a clash between pro-centralists & pro-regionalists.

Governor Christ, I wish you all the best of luck in your campaign for the Presidency of the Republic Smiley. Although I have officially endorsed President Moderate's campaign for reelection this October, there is an excellent chance that I might preference your candidacy for the Presidency second on my October ballot. Anywho, I really should stop rambling on. When do you plan to unveil your cult of personality? Or will that only appear if you are elected this October?

Mr. Governor, best of luck to you in your race. You may get my second preference if I don't write in gporter/woz.

The RPP would like to announce its intentions to support Jesus instead of running a candidate of their own.  A more offiical statement will be found later explaning our reasoning in our thread

But regionalists versus centralists would be exciting. Sad

This is a federalist/anti-federalist divide, do you really think Atlasia's most right-leaning party would be endorsing Atlasia's most left-leaning governor otherwise?

Because you think it is one. That doesn't make it one, since Mr. Moderate will win by a large margin. Doesn't mean centralism is far more popular than regionalism.

BTW, I'll almost certainly vote NOTA.

Well, considering Xahar's amazing success in destroying a power house party, losing multiple senate elections, numerous regional elections, and running a semi-irrelevant strong centralized government party I think its time Jesus packs it in, the elections over

Indeed. I mean, Moderate's winning so decisively that the man who handpicked him as his successor is publicly endorsing Bgwah.

Also consider the fact that the RPP was willing to let Moderate win this unopposed if had selected such an awful running mate

I doubt it.

This looks pretty unpredictable, with people basically voting on sympathy.

I would be surprised if no other somewhat-major candidate entered the race. The last two person race we had was probably in 2004...
