Wait, think about it.  If Obama is going to be physically there in Illinois with his VP, we have to know by tonight.  The press is staking out the VP's houses.  If Biden or whoever leaves early in the morning tomorrow, then the news will break at 6 am EST, many hours before text messages could be sent out.

I believe that Biden is far superior to Bayh and Edwards. I've been saying that Obama should choose him ever since he announced his candidacy.

Same here.  Though I admit to being willing to accept Nunn, Gore or Gephardt cheerfully in Biden's stead.  As to Chet Edwards, shoot -- I like him.  And I like his resume.  But just the "Edwards" name is a problem...and I am not sure he has attack dog skills.  Don't know enough about him.

Possibly the most intelligent thing anyone has said about the whole matter.  WE care.  But most Americans are -- at best -- casually interested.

I'd be chill with Chet, and I think that he would generate a fair bit of buzz.  I think by November 99% of voters would know that he isn't John Edwards.  But yeah, I think Gore, Clinton's, Sebelius's, and Edward's stock goes up.

The big three are going to be a letdown by this point.

Edit:  Alcon, I've had the news on for the last few hours and they have had live feeds of the VPs' front doors nonstop pretty much.  They are talking about it every two seconds.
