Exit polls indicate that Obama led in the west of the state

Expected, Chicago Media Market.

Edit:  Wrong state, sorry.

Well, it looks like its going to be a bad night for Clinton, seeing as how she might lose here by double digits. I suppose she'll keep her campaign going but I think that the supers will really rush towards Obama now and will have this thing over by early June. The only question remaining is when and if she'll drop out. I have to give her credit though, she gave it her all and put up a really good fight.

I don't trust the exit polls.

Exit polls are better for Obama than the actual results. Young enthused voters are more likely to talk to exit pollsters than cranky conservatives voting for the less electable candidate.

I think FOX just said they would when the polls close, but I only half heard them.

That would portend a much larger Obama victory than 14 points, I would think. Perhaps not.

I think Hillary, Obama, and Gravel were the three on the ballot IIRC.

Uncommitted is an option, too, I think.

This racial divide is absolutely absurd. Obama is winning 92% of the black vote. Imagine if Hillary won 92% of the white vote? There would be day and night segments on CNN and MSNBC about how racist North Carolina was..

No, they would talk about how Obama repels white voters.

Imagine that Hillary Clinton were the first serious white candidate to ever run for President. Imagine that you, as a fifty-year-old white man, grew up being called a "cracker" and refused jobs because of your skin color. Imagine that you suddenly felt that maybe there was some chance that such things wouldn't happen to other white people in the future if only you could get a white person elected President and show the black majority that white people weren't lazy and incompetent criminals.

Then it wouldn't be so racist, would it?
