These are going to be some very interesting results...unless people are telling the truth about candidate selections but not demographics, or vice-versa, Obama has made some in-roads into traditional Clinton demographics.

Hey, I know all the counties in Wisconsin that are more than 50% Catholic (mostly the ones just south of Green Bay), and they don't have any towns like Bronxville in them. Smiley

What are the chances that Obama wins Catholics by more than 5%?

...and the results would also be interesting if people have been lying. Either way; interesting. Which is all I did hope for Smiley

So in other words, I am more educated than 60% of the state of Wisconsin?

People need to quit saying I'm stupid.

I am interested to see how Obama will fare amongst self-described Democrats.

I expect a result similar to Maine.

Again, Fox News Channel leakes like a sieve with the exit polls, and Time's The Page has the details:

For those playing at home, "Obama slightly ahead among women and lower income voters" presumably translates into "Obama leading overall".

should we bother to count the votes, or should we just call it right now based on rumors on the internets?

For the benefit of those of us who failed maths at school*, what would that be expected to translate as in terms of overall numbers?

Obama beating Clinton amongst women in a predominantly white state? Ouch!

Obama won women by two points in the Utah exit polls, too. That's the only state I could find with comparable female numbers.

However, it should be noted that black women show no signs of liking Clinton more than black men do, which means that, while Obama's 22-point win of women in Virginia understates his position overall in Wisconsin, the two-point victory among women in Utah probably overstates it.

Not enough information there to say, but everything I'm seeing indicates a percentage margin of 15%+.

It looks like the exit polls for MO also had Obama up very narrowly (by just 1 point) among women:

http://election.cbsnews.com/campaign2008/exitPoll.shtml?state=MO&race=P&jurisdiction=0&party=D

and he only won the state by the narrowest of margins.  But I think the exit polls for MO were just plain wrong, as they appear to give a 5 point lead in the "under $50,000" category and a 14 point lead in the "over $50,000" category....which clearly doesn't square with the closeness of the final result.
