"Footage reportedly from Jordan showing the remains of an intercepted Iranian missile."

"Additional footage from the remains in the Marj Al-Hamam a municipality in Amman, Jordan."

I just got back from trips to various stores. Turned on news on CNN to see it all started.
Have not read this entire thread.

Can someone tell me if the Iranians have targeted any US installations in the Middle East?
Or just targets in Israel?

And what is the most-damaged target they have hit (so far) in Israel, if any?

This is the extent of reported damage and injuries I've seen:

"Serious injury reported in the Arad area.

The seriously wounded 10 year old has died."

I wouldn’t expect any direct strikes from Iran to US bases in the Middle East. Though I think strikes on them from Iranian allied groups are more likely than not. Too early to really tell what is going on. Al-Asad and T22 are probably the most likely targets if they do happen.

One would assume that Iranian strikes on U.S. targets are illogical considering that the Iranian government has alsmost verbatim warned the U.S. to "stay out of this" tonight.

Maybe Iran did a limited strike, mostly drones, so it would hopefully all be shot down and they can't be a major escalation?

Some of the initial outrage from Iran government and military officials, was a blame not only on Israel, but also towards the US. So who knows what those crazy Iranian f***s would try. We told them, we had nothing to do with it.
I guess our severe threats, scared them-off from attacking any US installations.

Oh they wanted them to be slow so Israel would shoot them down and there wouldn't be a large counter-counter-strike.
Meaning they wanted to give everyone a good scare, but not provoke Bibi into nuking Teheran or something.
that may be the excuse they use for their attack not working.  My money is still on "do you know how much it cost Israel and the West to shoot down all those drones? billions!"

It looks like a cruise missile, probably a Kh-55/Soumar.

What was likely designed as some sort of "warning" strike by Iran still carries the potential of further escalation down the road, since the dumb assholes in Teheran could be acting on the false premise that Israel is an aggressor nation that has now been deterred and not a Jewish state that sees itself beleagured by extremist enemies.

Unverified footage

Oh wow.
These look like direct hits into civilian populated areas (homes, apartments, businesses).
There could be various deaths, just from these three (short) videos alone.

Good spot Storr!

As I said, unverified...

Though I would think the last video is genuine, or at least from Israel.

*Genuine source*

So far, only 1 confirmed injury and not too much material damage, which is great to hear.

Fox News was reporting of minor damage on an Israeli military installation in southern Israel (and then also, the one girl hurt already said in various posts above).
That's the most of it (as least so far).

But all this is due to the good/great interception of the Iranian missiles and drones.

Did I miss a joke? An account literally run by Russian intelligence is a "genuine source" ?

At least Israel's first reaction isn't to escalate:

"Israel has called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council regarding the Iranian attack."
