I'm leaving out those inaugurated this year as it's too early. I went with Ned Lamont.

Perhaps the poll should have been divided between Mid-Atlantic States and New England.

What a dismal list!

The PA governors are getting bumps by virtue of winning in a closely fought swing state, which has earned them goodwill with partisan Democrats from outside the state, but Wolf sent covid patients into care homes and I don't think Shapiro has done much worthwhile yet.

Phil Murphy is probably the best that I'm familiar with. He had low expectations but has governed fairly well.

Was by no means perfect in governing during the pandemic but most states had far more flawed/problematic regulations and governance during those years.
