Yes, definitely. Because:
1-She's a Republican.
2-She doesn't seem like the type otherwise. It would seem kind of strange if she was actually listening to Sunny Day Real Estate's "How It Feels To Be Something On" and The Get Up Kids' "Four Minute Mile" or Mineral's "EndSerenading" when they were released when she was in college because she attended The Citadel. I'm having a very difficult time imagining someone at The Citadel who was an emo fan.
Maybe she encountered some emo fans in grad school at University of Georgia but I doubt she got into it then.
