Ds conceded WI in 22 and Johnson won on the back of IAN but we are doing well in WI this time around so no Kind was right to retire

Honestly maybe. He wouldn’t have been so DOA as he seemed a year prior when he decided to retire.

I think so. Van Orden only won by 4% and given incumbency strength last year,  I think Kind would've been fine.

Yes. Basically every endangered Democrat in a seat similar to his held on. Cartwright, Kaptur, Golden. Even Axne almost won despite being far less entrenched, facing a stronger challenger than Van Orden, and the Republican candidates for Senate and Governor carrying the district.
