I used to be fairly athletic.  Played church league basketball as a kid and in a company racquetball league early in my career.  Did distance running (5K to half marathon) on and off for decades, finally had to stop after a bad back injury a few years ago.  Didn't start winning age group medals until my 50s; you don't have to be super fast if you outlive your competition. Wink

I'm fully recovered from the back injury but don't run anymore; I lost my wind and don't think my knees and hips could take it.  I do walk briskly at least 30 minutes a day, weather permitting, and at least one 60+ minute hike on the weekend, usually on more strenuous terrain (nearby mountain trails).

I'm probably slightly more athletic than the average 49 year old.

I would say that I am so-so, I used to play tennis in high school, in the junior varsity stage. I don't know if I would have played team sports like basketball, etc. because I don't know if I would have good team chemistry with the others.

Team chemistry and communication to win games are important against your competitors/rivals.

Well, I made a half court shot today.

In all seriousness, I'm very tall and am a big guy.  So, I'm decently good at sports when I can use my size to my advantage.  But, I don't have the stamina or speed to run around a lot, so I am somewhat limited in my athletic capability.  I can typically hold my own playing sports with friends from church though.

Not really athletic but I don't think I'm that out of shape.

I'm terrible at sports (uncoordinated) and fat, so very much no. I'm also not very good at team chemistry either.

After running 5km and swimming 5km on the weekend, the answer is 'no'.

I need to have more energy during the run to power on when I need to. I felt flat during the swim.

Not really.  It could be said that I have more brains than brawn...but for some people, even that's a stretch, ROFL.  Wink

If you're talking about most team sports, then absolutely no, I was always one of the last three picks back in P.E. class. But otherwise, I do love a nice bicycle ride and I try to go to the gym every weekend to keep in shape. Wink
