The current season of Family Guy is probably their best one in years. Also, Seth's scaled back involvement in both these shows considerably other than acting. His thing is The Orville now.

Anyway, sure. Great voice and live acting talent, sings beautifully even though I don't listen to his genre, and a really good writer for both his shows and movies. But he hasn't written a Family Guy episode since 2005 IIRC.

No, above average at best. He's no idiot though, you have to have some smarts to succeed in keeping a show on air for a long time, even if luck and schmoozing play important roles as well.

Obviously significantly above average intelligence, he's had huge success in a variety of fields and genres and shows a lot of wit and knowledge. But "genius" is a strong word.

Option 2.

Family Guy is alright and American Dad is great, but both suffered when he diverted his attention to other projects. I enjoyed The Orville until the move to Hulu.

He's a pretty smart cookie with an irreverent and goofy sense of humor, but he's not exactly Matt Stone/Trey Parker, Mike Judge, or Matt Groening.  Fun fact: this is probably where he got his start;
