The fact that she would rather tank the Democratic nominee in the Senate race and allow a Republican win over losing a primary is one of the most pathetic and shameless grifts for power in recent memory. Sinema is a joke and even though he won't, I hope Schumer shows her no mercy. Strip her committee assignments and feed her to the wolves. Either caucus with the Republicans or resign.

Hmmm...

I wish Sinema was like Tulsi Gabbard instead of a corporate shill neolib that is far-left and woke on cultural issues.

I can’t stand Sinema, but at least she doesn’t simp for Putin on Tucker Carlson

Give it time.

That woman does seem to have a loose screw or two. The word that comes to mind is narcissist, a condition that I have been told is incurable.

I am not sure how effective she will be as a lobbyist however, when she is no longer needed. So one wonders what her plan will be to maintain her lavish lifestyle. That seems to be job one. Her sartorial choices remind me of what I see from time to time what I see when Dan watches fashion shows. The outfits are not what one typically sees on the street or anywhere else for that matter, other than the runways on which the models strut.

Anyone on the receiving end of praise from Mittens Romney is not someone who should be wielding any sort of political power whatsoever

The NYT published a profile of Sinema the other day. Very weird piece that is largely hagiography with an occasional questioning of her tossed in for good measure. If you were to read it, you’d walk away thinking she’s the greatest legislator of all time.

Said another way, I found it interesting that almost every source/character witness praises her while the recitation of her bio to me makes her sound unhinged, lol.

Paywalled so I can't read it, but Robert Draper also wrote a sympathetic profile of the Bush administration that was released around the time that the economy was literally collapsing, so he seems to have a proclivity for humanizing garbage creatures at the worst possible times.

I definitely do not get "on good terms" from that statement lol. Kinda reads like "I'm endorsing the Democratic nominee for Senate, not the specific person"

Say what you will about Sinema. She was effective as a bridge, and I don’t know which Democrats are going to be that liaison to getting things done once her and Manchin leave next year.

Yeah, once Sinema and Manchin are gone, who's going to have good faith meetings with Republicans to discuss a bill proposal only for those Republicans to vote against the final bill and they also vote against the final bill

Ruben Gallego could say nothing for the next 7 months and win this election with ease at this point.
