Another county in PA has all but finished its count.

Tiny Elk County, a rural that went for Obama in 2008 (50.8-46.5): Oz leads 67-30.

Vote in 2020 was Trump 71-27.

does anyone know if PA count the mail in votes first or last?
I just heard on TV that PA does mail-in votes first.

Paulding county, the reddest of the northern Atlanta collar counties is pretty much done, and Warnock is still ahead statewide, although well under 50 now.

This election may well be the closest thing to a pure draw I've ever seen.

I notice the "RED WAVE IS INEVITABLE" posters, IndyRep included, have gotten strangely silent...

I gotta say I'm really surprised not to see more of my fellow blues in here besides Cody and PiT.

No, it's fine.  I'll just sit by myself at this corner table.  Can someone get me another Manhattan?

I hear cuba libres are on the house tonight. I’m a little caffeine sensitive so I’ll just take a pisco sour.

May I instead offer you some weird rocket pop flavored Smirnoff mixed with Diet Dr. Pepper? That's what's I'm drinking tonight.

Dr. Pepper > Coke but I generally avoid caffeine after lunchtime if I have work the next day.

I can’t speak to other states, but NYT’s projections in VA are junk right now. Wexton leads by 5, the remaining vote is heavily D, and NYT projects a final margin of D+1 somehow.

Where in the district is the remaining vote out from

Still projecting a 51-49 senate in favor of the GOP.  Buckle up and get some coffee, folks.

Wait how are they getting 51-49? Which one is flipping?

Nevada for sure, and then Georgia if Dems lose PA or Dems lose PA and win Georgia.

Can someone give me a quick rundown of the state of affairs? I can't possibly keep up with the pace at which info gets posted in this thread. Many thanks in advance.

There was a huge R swing in FL but Democrats are on average slightly over performing everywhere else so far.

Fetterman has made clear gains over Biden in rural PA. Oz never sold himself to the base completely.

Some PA counties focused on counting their absentee ballots as soon as possible and have released them, which is why Fetterman has such a lead.

Wait a minute. Are you saying that some of these vote tallies from places like elk and Forest counties are only the absentee ballot numbers? Link/citation?

Paulding seems odd since it has Walker at 74, a number not reached since Bush '04 (and a 20 point swing right). Possibly might come down if mail isn't in, or tabulation error?

Aw damn it, Stitt wins. Hofmeister, like Ryan, might have won in a better year. Sad to see good candidates go down like that.

Not my first choice but I have an 8am tomorrow and have to dilute it with something.
