Allegheny now at >95% and Fetterman +28. Incredibly outperformed Biden's +20 in the state's 2nd biggest county.

My exact senate prediction is currently looking likely. I had Dems winning PA, AZ, and NV, but losing GA.

So it's something like a 52-48 margin in VA-02.
Congrats to incoming Congresswoman Kiggans on a well-run campaign.

Another really crazy thing I saw on the constant commercials during the World Series was them trying to make Fetterman out to be anti-black.  Wasn't the town he was mayor of 70% or so black and he was very popular???  Seems like a very silly thing.  The Connor Lamb people tried to play this game, too.  Well, I do suppose a guy like Oz trying to win black folks is progress.  I remember when Mitt Romney didn't even care he just wanted whitey.

The Republican candidate for one IL's open Supreme Court seats has conceded. This means that Democrats will at least have a 4-3 majority in the chamber (the other seat is too early to call).

So it's looking like PA Dems have a good chance at a majority in the State House

And NH Dems have a good chance at a majority in the State House too.

This is insane. Like what the actual hell happened tonight?

Dobbs Effect was real. The special elections were real. Relying on a bunch of garbage right-wing polls was obviously a mistake.

Jeremy Schafer (who copied Fetterman's logo in his lawn signs) has conceded to Chris DeLuzio in PA-17, keeping Conor Lamb's seat in Democratic hands. The last load of absentee ballots from Allegheny County have also just been delivered to the election warehouse.

PA once again being an unbelievably based state. Delivered the election for Biden in 2020, and now this. We love our Pennsylvanians, don't we folks?

Let's give the Pennsylvania Republican party some credit for continuously nominating utterly trash candidates for governor.

Kermit Jones currently is leading in CA-03, but I don’t expect that to last at all.

That's my district.

Donald Trump is a tumor on the Republican Party. He used the party when it was convenient for him to fulfill his stupid dream of becoming president and proceeded to drive our country off a cliff, which cost the party the House, Senate, and Presidency all in 4 years. And it could very well stop the party from retaking the House and Senate this year, even when he's not in office because he's still been peddling the stupid election lie. I hope this election is a wakeup call for Republicans to finally cut him off.

Of course not. It's not like he was created in a vacuum. He's the embodiment of what Republican voters want other than losing elections. If Republicans really want to get rid of trump this would require them to change their values and priorities which they are not remotely about to do of course.

So the Needle has been showing 48 Dem favored seats, 3 Toss-Up seats and, um, 50 Republican favored seats.  Have I completely forgotten how to add up to 100?

The NYT website has been a huge disappointment in general tonight. Glitchy as hell and they actively changed the GUI for the worse for some reason.

Is there an up to date source that shows which house seats have flipped? DDHQ seems to have made more calls but don't have a flip map like CNN does

Kornacki makes a good argument that a Dem House is not out of the question at all. (But if it happens we wouldn't know for weeks because of CA.)

So Ryan loses by a respectable 5, but it looks like he might've definitely helped downballot Dems. Kaptur, Landsdman, and Sykes winning is huge.
