The population density of the Capital Region District in BC is 360 people per square mile (I assume that's what these numbers are).

74.4. Thanks to that huge rural rest of the county that I have actually never set foot in (except for the American Legion in Eagle Lake).

Barrow County- 284.5

It's significantly higher in this (western) half of the county, though, as this side is more 'infested' with Atlanta's outer suburban sprawl. The eastern half of Barrow is mostly rural, aside from a couple of small towns.

What? You're Republican?

Ooooh.......I thought that they were looking for the party affiliation for the county. It made more sense.

I assumed that the more dense the county, the more likely it was to vote Democratic. I was wondering whether the same pattern held true for forummers. It seems like, for some reason, that there are a disproportionate number of urban Republicans here, compared to the voting patterns in the U.S.

Can't say I'm the least bit surprised, but Nassau County, has by FAR the highest population density of any county which isn't a city-county or mostly comprised of a major city.  In fact the population density is larger in Nassau County than many big cities.   The population density is more than 1,000 more than the next county with Orange County CA having about 3600 per square mile.

I'm not surprised. NJ is the most densely populated state, and has no major cities (at least in the top 50).

Nassau County is in NY.

The density of the Jersey counties are a bit higher, may have overstated it a bit by calling them major cities, but Newark, jersey City and Patterson are large urban areas.
