Say, in 2029/30, if not later, or will he go down like all non-Caretaker PMs since Menzies: in death, a partyroom knifing, an election loss, or a confidence-&/or-supply-loss-induced dismissal?

Gough Whitlam was controversially fired by the governor general.

Oof, how could I forget the Dismissal! Will edit the OP.

EDIT: also added "non-Caretaker" so nobody had the idea to bring McEwen up, & his commission as interim PM specifically expired upon the Liberals' election (of Gorton, who just took a day to be sworn-in) anyway; Albo's has no expiration date.

Statistically speaking it seems rather unlikely, since no one has managed this since Menzies.

You probably need to travel to Australia to understand how chill the mood is.

And other than Menzies the only other PM to voluntarily leave at a time of their choosing is Edmund Barton. It’s more common in state politics but it’d be a highly unusual act federally.

God help us if he is still the Prime Minister in 2030.

Mate, you had *Tony Abbott* as PM recently.

I think you will survive even two terms of Albo perfectly well in comparison.

Yes, and he was terrible.  Although I think Malcolm Turnbull was worse.
