2017 was... eh, not the worst year, but far from the best. While I did find a full-time job in the second half of the year, I was stuck subbing for the first half, and had even worse experiences than in 2016. Also, while the job I found (which is my current job) gave me more stability, my first year there was awful, and the principal that year was completely incompetent. I was able to move out of my parent's house, but the apartment I moved into was basically a closet with a bathroom. I guess the main positive was that I started to learn Spanish this year. Overall, a cut above 2016, though not a great year, so I guess C-.

2017 was a decent year, as I transitioned from my Freshman to Sophomore year of college. In the summer of this year, I interned at Sen. Michael Bennet's office, and in the fall of this year, my family went on a road trip to Texas, visiting Austin and San Antonio. Overall, I'd rate it a B.

What even was 2017? I barely remember it, even though it was just 5 years ago. Life was extremely tedious with little to do beyond work. I was working as a barista in the mornings and afternoons, and then I would drive up to work on renovating my grandpa's old house until nighttime. Repeat, day in and day out. I'm pretty sure the only times I did anything else all year were two days in June to see my friend's graduation in Montana, two days in August to go to Oregon to see the eclipse (very cool), and three or so days in October or November up in Vancouver.

A. The best (imo) president this millennium (so far) was inaugurated, and my mom received surgery that successfully removed the cancer.

Front half was alright (B- territory) but back half (September-December) was probably the worst period in my life to date. Averages out to a D+.

The president who endorsed a terrorist attack on federal property was the best this millennium, good to know.

B+
Junior to senior year of high school.
Overall good. Had friends, was on my school's bowling team, and no longer at an awful school, but having 11 bad school years in a row killed my enthusiasm for academics and I just wanted to be out.

2017/2018/2019 all blur together for me. The three years I was in my home city of St. Louis of my adult life and those years were interesting to say the least. I had a lot of fun, got a good job, but also suffered parental deaths and was constantly around crime.

B- I suppose.

Year was mostly defined by uni starting. This was probably the only time in my degree that I felt a part of uni beyond "just coming to classes and nothing else", and I tried to participate in activities more. So that was a positive.

This was also the first time I went to the Northern Hemisphere. Would I go to the places I went to overseas again? Maybe, maybe not. But great to get the travelling bug kicked and it did make me want to see more of the world. So another tick.

Beyond that....things were....fine I guess? A little bit of progress was made socially, work was still mostly OK. But little to write home about and things would start to deteoriate again in 2018.

Very eventful year. Moved from India after spending many years there to the US. I give it a C.
