Question: Should Democrats take legislative action this year (2022) to end the Debt Ceiling & Government Shutdown threats forever?
#1
They should take legislative action this year to end the Debt Ceiling threat forever, by just eliminating it, or by raising it to an absurdly high number

#2
They should take legislative action this year so, if funding isn't re-authorized in-time, things continue indefinitely at current levels instead of shutting down, therefore no more government shutdowns by inaction ever

#3
Both of the above

#4
None of the above

I think we need to do this, and this year. Ideally it should have been last year. But definitely since a sizeable number of Republicans like to act like economic terrorists using the threats of the debt ceiling or a government shutdown, let's prevent that from ever happening again (and it would also prevent Democrats from ever using these tactics against Republicans too).
