I don't see her running for anything else if she loses.

I'd say she goes for a rematch, as Republicans have greater than a 50/50 chance of winning 2024, and if they win 2026 would be a Trump or DeSantis midterm, and Whitmer won by almost 10 points in the 2018 midterms

Only if 2026 is indeed a GOP midterm. I don't think she tries again in a 2nd Biden midterm or a Harris midterm. If she couldn't win as incumbent, she won't in an equally worse national environment.

If Debbie Stabbenow retires in 2024, I could imagine her running for senate. She could even do so after winning reelection this year, allowing Gilcrist to run in 2026 as incumbent gov.

Yeah I’d imagine she’d run for Senate in 2024 if Stabanow retires either way.

She won't lose Biden in ZOGBY is 5o/48 in Approval and 43/50 in Job Performance so if Biden is at 50/48 we win MI, WI and PA

Debbie Stabenow said she is running for reelection

Agreed, though I expect Stabbenow to run for reelection for at least one additional term.
