Poll
Question: Say Kelly lost in 2022 narrowly. The left actively tried to primary Sinema. She made a deal with GOP, to switch party in exchange for primary support, and got GOP nomination. Dems run Kelly against her.

I know the scenario is highly unlikely to materialise, but let's say it happens.

Sinema would be one of the most unappealing Republican candidates of all time, and Democrats would be even more inclined to turn out due to Sinema. Lean D.

Sinema’s only natural base is narcissistic wine aunts so I can’t imagine she’d be favored at all

There are a lot of indies in AZ who may prefer Sinema over Kelly. Rs would turn out for presidential election and may vote straight ticket.

While Sinema would have the Republican vote all but locked down, her party switching might be seen as opportunistic and turn off some Independents. Also, AZ isn't NJ-02, since if anything, it's trending in the other direction. It would come down at least somewhat to the national environment, but in a neutral environment, I'd give a slight edge to Kelly.
