This guy defeated New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney despite having campaign expenditures of only $150 and no campaign presence online at all aside from a never updated Facebook page.

Anyway massive Freedom Fighter because Sweeney was terrible and was Based Phil's main obstacle. He's one of the very very few cases where I'd vote Republican because the Democrats would keep a majority anyway and any Republican in the New Jersey Senate is effectively harmless but Sweeney kept blocking progressive legislation and we might get a more progressive replacement Senate President. For that reason the state teachers union endorsed his Republican opponent in 2019, and they basically NEVER endorse Republicans, just like me.

Having this guy in a State Senate is also probably going to be a blast!
