Bolsonaro is only up 5% in the city of Rio, and Lula is up 7% in the city of Sao Paulo.

In Pernambuco, Raquel Lyra (PSDB) has defeated Marilia Arraes (SD). 59-41.

This race was marked by a big emotional component, Lyra's husband died on the day of the first round and her son had to get an appendicitis surgery. On the first day of free electoral ad time on the second round, Lyra asked Arraes for both of them to not air anything, but Arraes, for some reason, decided to not take Lyra on her request.

That said, don't get me wrong, there is a political component to the race too. Arraes is from a very important political family from the region, voters are actively rejecting the Arraes family by choosing Lyra.

The divide in Amazonas between Manaus and the rest of the state remains huge. Bolsonaro only won 3 municipalities out of about three dozen. However, he's at 61% in Manaus. It seems that about 90% of his votes in Amazonas are coming from Manaus alone.

Because Manaus is a city and the rest of the state is where people are having their ancestral homelands burned down.
The uncontacted tribes can't be that much of the vote. I'd assume that most of that comes down to a class vote - Manaus has always been sizably richer than Amazonas overall.

In Sergipe, Fábio Mitidieri (PSD) has defeated Rogério Carvalho (PT), 52 - 48. Polls said this race was 50-50, I don't know much more about it tbh.

I mean the city (in both cases). Apologies for not being specific enough.

You love freedom so much that you wanna eliminate the people's freedom to govern, rule, & control themselves? Make it make sense.

Or, better yet, just cope.

In Rondonia, Coronel Marcos Rocha (UNIÃO), the incumbent governor, defeated Marcos Rogerio (PL). Once again, a bolsonarista vs bolsonarista race. 53-47.

You love freedom so much that you wanna eliminate the people's freedom to choose their governmental leaders themselves?

Make it make sense.

He wants an elite group of corporatists to define freedom for everyone else. After all they're rich so they must know what's best for the rest of us.

I un-recommended this just so that I could recommend it twice.
(btw, Lula is "squid" in portuguese. I suspect you know that, just saying that for the benefit of everyone else)

Record is also basically saying that Lula is elected.

You were right Red Velvet. I didn't realised that the São Paulo/Minas/Rio rural areas were undercounted by a lot. A close, close race in the end, 51-49%.

I only found that out because my Google translator kept changing Lula to Squid when I went on the Globo site haha.
