Included were the nationally prominent Massachusetts liberals of the last two decades or so.

I vote for Dukakis. Heym riding in that tank with that huge helmet will really help you Mr. Governor!

I suppose Dukakis. Maybe I'm not really a 'liberal'.

Dukakis.

He went from one of the most respected Governors in the country and a tough centrist to a radical left-wing communist after the attack machine in 88.  He really wasn't that radical he got painted as.

Tsongas, even my dad kind of liked him.

Here's how I would rank them:

1. Tsongas
2. Kennedy
3. Dukakis
4. Kerry

I kinda like Dukakis....I hear him on the radio sometimes, he presents a strong case for whatever the hell he's talking about.  He got ripped to pieces in 1988, and I fear they will do to Kerry what they did so well to Dukakis.

Mike was in the drivers seat for most of the campaign.

Most of what happened to him, was his own fault...stupid tank photo

then again...the Willie Horton ad was a little low.

Bullmoose,

Do you think the tank photo-op cost Dukakis the election?

Dukakis just took too long to respond to the attacks against him.
