Governor Cuomo may have enough residual political strength to survive in office until the end of his current term, but his re-election prospects (if he even dares consider it now) are dead in the water.

Also, if the New York State Assembly votes to impeach the governor upon the conclusion of its investigation (and the New York State Senate convicts him), he’ll obviously be out even sooner than that.

Hopefully this is finally creating enough pressure on Heastie to get out of the way and impeach Cuomo's a*s. Once impeachment is voted upon, he's stripped of gubernatorial authority and may be forced to resign if senate conviction seems inevitable. The Democrats need to live up to their own standards and finally remove the guy.

In less seriousness, the Yankees win World Series titles whenever there is a Democratic president and no Cuomo is in office for some reason (1983-1995), (2011-2023?); even if the 1994 Yankees (under Clinton/Cuomo (before losing to Pataki)/Giuliani) went to the World Series and lost to the Montreal Expos, (giving Canada a 3-peat baseball titles in general)

2022 or 2023 may see a Yankees WS victory....
