Did Manchin oppose Tanden because she criticized his daughter's Big Pharma profiteering?

I think it's a possibility.

For those who don't know, Joe Manchin's daughter, Heather Bresch, is the CEO of the company that makes EpiPen. After spiking the price of this essential, lifesaving drug, her compensation from the company increased from $2.5M to over $18M annually. However, like a good moderate Dem, Tanden's tweet criticizing her was very limited in scope, not attacking the price gouging itself but suggesting that more employees other than the CEO should share in the newfound revenue generated by said price gouging.

This has always been such an odd scandal - EpiPen does not have a monopoly. Generic epinephrine isn’t that expensive, either.

A "broken clock-ception" goin on here if that's the case. Tanden is normally terrible, but she's right here. Manchin is right to call her out for the normal terrible-ness, but this would be the wrong reason.
