This speech by J.B. will be used on the AP Lang exam for rhetorical analysis

I am so glad Giannoulias beat Valencia, Valencia is an upcoming star but the next Senate election is in 2026 and Juliana Stratton is the heir Apparent to PRITZKER

Democrats will probably take the lead in DuPage once they count all the VBM.

Update: As expected, Democrats have taken the lead in total votes cast in DuPage for both parties' gubernatorial primaries (as of July 1, with some VBM still left to count):

Combined Dem gubernatorial vote - 69,832 (50.41%)
Combined GOP gubernatorial vote - 68,706 (49.59%)

Bailey is unelectable, clearly Sullivan and Irvin split the vote the samethig happened in 2010)14, when Dillard was supposed to be Gov the GOP nominated Brady and Rauner people that can't work with a D state Legislature

Pritzker isn’t winning this by more than 10-15% as his ceiling.

Bailey is the most electable candidate out of the three. Irvin is a loser and Sullivan is literally who.

I no longer believe any candidate is unelectable.

Large parts of the ILGOP are not getting behind Bailey.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is in the platform of the 2024 nominee for President, quite frankly.

The Illinois GOP is one of the most incompetent state parties in the country.

Bailey, you weren't exactly likely to win to begin with, but for the love of God, stop digging your heels in.

The gov candidate was always gonna lose, my only concern is if Bailey starts to drag other republicans down with him.

Sullivan would have made this race competitive , I liked Sullivan not Irvin

He looked like Mark Kirk but Mark Kirk went after Giannoulias that's why I didn't vote for Kirk but Sullivan was not on the attack

Pritzker's investment in the Republican primary is really paying off.

Let's see how badly Bailey loses. I think there's a decent chance Pritzker gets over 60% in November

I think we can confidently say that IL-GOV is Safe D at this point.
