I prefer Kenyatta but I think Fetterman probably wins the primary.

Is there any scenario where this race isn't Fetterman v Parnell?

Lol Dr. Oz?

If he’s the nominee he either loses by 10 or wins by 10, no in-between

This would hurt him in a general election, but I doubt Republican voters would care enough that it would hurt his chances at getting the nomination.

I feel like he's the kind of candidate who can only win by 10 points or lose by 10 points, nothing in-between.

This is only a rumor I'm personally hearing from GOP insiders I know and trust, but said sources that tell me this are generally pretty reliable. People online are saying this too and certain tabloids are hyping this up, but again- I trust the insider sources, and not the tabloids.

Apparently he could specifically  specifically announce this on Hannity in the next few days. I still wouldn't get too cocky to bet on it, but it honestly seems ever more likely by each passing day.
Announcing on Hannity rather than Tucker leads me to believe he'll run as a traditional muh economy muh socialism Republican. Ugh, hopefully someone better wins the primary.

He's a suburban Republican.

However, Enes Kanter went on Tucker recently and he is hardly a populist national conservative. You overestimate the political implications of someone appearing on a certain news anchor's show.

He should run in New Jersey, where he lives. He doesn't live in PA.

He should run against Bob Menendez in 2024, he could give the NJGOP their first Senate win since 1972.

I'd like to agree with you, but if Oz announces that run on Fox anytime soon.... I don't think he runs against corrupt Bob.

True...he should announce he is spending the next 2 years running against Menendez in NJ in 2024 and he will endorse some other Pennsylvania Republican.

Oz can beat Menendez 52%-48% in deep blue NJ and hold a Republican to 10 points in the presidential if Oz is on the 2024 slate in NJ...

Oz would flip Bergen, Middlesex and romp in South Jersey.

In no universe does Oz flip Bergen County or even come close to winning.

Sucks for John Fetterman that his legacy will be "the guy who lost to Dr. Oz"

Fetterman and Lamb will vote the same 99% of the time if they're elected to the Senate, so what really matters is who you think would be a better general election candidate.

So it's all about stopping the only candidate that can win the general because he's Too Far Left.

Truly amazing stuff, folks. The grifters in power rather lose with their gravy train flowing than win and change the world for the better.

Aren't you basically making the same argument as he is? You think Lamb would lose and Fetterman would win, and we should all back the candidate who has the best shot at winning?

Hot take: The general election will be double digits for the Republicans. Look at the new Trafalgar GCB poll at R+13.

Lol Trafalgar...

Well, good luck. We deserve to lose if we nominate Lamb.

Never underestimate the Democratic Party's ability to organize against leftists.

Fetterman is running a bad campaign. Perhaps leftists should take responsibility for their own performances rather than blame the shadowy elites.

I prefer Kenyatta over both of the other two. But I accept that he’s unlikely to win.

Ugh, I feel like Fetterman's advantage is gone and Lamb favored for the nomination. It might not even be that close.

I'm still conflicted about the question who's a better GE candidate, though I'd vote for Fetterman in the primary.

Polarization is too strong for either candidate to have an advantage or disadvantage imo, barring an exceptionally bad candidate.

Is there any evidence at all that a Senator Lamb would act like Manchin or Sinema?

No, and it's the most ridiculous thing that people have latched on to. I've already seen it among more progressive friends IRL; "Progressive Twitter" has had it out for him for some strange reason. It's just exhausting.

I get if you like one more than the other, that's fine. But the animosity is very odd to me. We're all on the same side here.

They think Fetterman is entitled to the nomination and are upset that he's being challenged.

the centerpiece of Lamb's campaign has been January 6th. From my view, Lamb has actively sidelined economic issues,

I'm not sure this is exactly true. He's getting a ton of union endorsements.

I think the DSCC is right to go to bat for Lamb, since Fetterman's running a lazy campaign. I guess that's who I endorse, although I hope he's not another Manchin/Sinema.

I don't know about anyone else but the DSCC endorsing Lamb would actively push me from "bitch about it on Atlas" to "actively encourage friends and family to vote third party".

F**k around and find out.

This is very bizarrely vindictive.

Did Lamb run over your dog or something?

There is really no evidence to support the idea that Lamb would be another Manchin/Sinema, and I don't see any evidence that "the establishment" is giving him an unfair advantage.

Not at all, he's voted basically like Generic D during his House tenure.

More evidence that politics is just vibes.

For example, Cori Bush has voted w/the GOP more often than any Dem in the House except for Jared Golden & Sylvia Garcia.

What's the point when you can't pass a bill because you elected a bunch of serial flip-floppers whose loyalty lies with rich donors?

Having a Democrat who does nothing is 1000% better than a Republican who does bad things.

I also reject your characterization of Lamb, but that's a separate debate.

PA Dems were handed a golden candidate on a silver platter, but have instead decided that it should be a two-way race between a man who refuses to wear pants and is possibly scared of Black people, and the man who is the human equivalent of corn flakes.

When Fetterman/Lamb lose in the general, the discourse about how the other one would've absolutely won is gonna be unbearable.
