Watching a major party's senate nominee in a swing state corncob himself is incredible, what a time to be alive.

Because (lack of) authenticity, (lack of) trust, and (lack of) self-confidence/assertiveness are far more powerful factors in determining how persuadable voters will vote than an 'extreme' ideology.

This is all pretty true ref. the campaign trail. However consider the following:
1. Will PA’s electorate this November be plurality BIDEN voters or plurality TRUMP voters?
2. Which party is currently doing a better job engaging low-propensity voters?
3. Industrial revitalization illustrates the steelworkers and other industrial trades’ support but doesn’t do much for the Delaware Valley’s collective construction trades/Whole Foods wonder-breads/flower children. In addition, Fetterman must synthesize the link between Appalachian’s opiate crisis and Kensington’s. Urban Puerto Ricans swung towards Trump (or rather, Trump engaged otherwise apathetic voters) in part because he emphasized opiates+gun violence. I don’t think Oz possesses the political capital to hit Fetterman on crime however imo it’s better to sniff that out before it begins. Kenyatta said it best in the primary debate: “What about Philly”?

With the new POS (R) poll, 538 now gives Fetterman a 68 in 100 chance of winning. That's slightly more than Ron Johnson, who has a 67 in 100 chance. LOL

Fetterman having a 68% chance is perfectly reasonable. Barnes at 33% though is LOL

Oz has attempted to hit Fetterman on crime, but he also clowned himself by focusing on the whole "Fetterman wants to release 1/3 of prisoners!" thing.

How does Oz and his team think he can get up on the debate stage and defend his support for medicare privatization? There's no reasonable explanation other than Dem plants, but I'm not complaining.

Sen. Mehmet Oz (R-NJ PA) plans to introduce the Medicare Privatization Act of 2023 right after swearing in on January 3, 2023 as co-sponsor with Sen. Blake Masters (R-AZ).

Now three Republicans are running on this? I know that Republicans have always wanted this, but it’s not popular at all and advertising this position seems like a terrible idea that allows Democrats to spin them as the ones who are out of touch and don’t care about people.

I warned many times that he would be the least electable candidate in history when we were voting in the primary, but no, conventional wisdom and meaningless endorsements said otherwise. The guy has zero redeeming qualities. His name is the first time I used the Twitter mute/block function, and the crudite still gets through.

This is not going to be a close race. Give me a break, 68%, this is a 95+% lock and quite possibly double digits, though I'll conservatively call it a 9 point victory. Nobody is voting for Oz, especially in this now pro-D environment.

When you see the "election denier" who votes Democrat up and down the entire ballot in the Franklin & Marshall poll next Thursday, you can think of me, but I doubt I'll be the only one, especially in the Senate race, who thinks this is one clown too far.

It's rather ironic how Dr. Oz decries socialism considering how often he's publicly owned.
