Is there any evidence at all that a Senator Lamb would act like Manchin or Sinema?

Not at all, he's voted basically like Generic D during his House tenure.

More evidence that politics is just vibes.

For example, Cori Bush has voted w/the GOP more often than any Dem in the House except for Jared Golden & Sylvia Garcia.

I think the DSCC is right to go to bat for Lamb, since Fetterman's running a lazy campaign. I guess that's who I endorse, although I hope he's not another Manchin/Sinema.

I don't know about anyone else but the DSCC endorsing Lamb would actively push me from "bitch about it on Atlas" to "actively encourage friends and family to vote third party".

F**k around and find out.

With respect, I’m pretty sure that’s just you who feels this way.

I think Conor Lamb's campaign has sucked so far. I think he's fallen hard since his first win. He showed some promise, but he's a full democratic swamp creature now.

There's nothing to back this up - you could literally just say anyone who's been in congress for more than a year is a "democratic swamp creature now."

Just because you say words does not make them true.

If you make a central theme of your candidacy about January 6th and voting rights, you have officially become a democratic swamp creature. No one who isn’t super invested in giving the Democratic Party more power cares about those issues.

Gisele Fetterman just posted this on Twitter. Kind of frustrating that the other names are blurred out:

Trying to track down the full poll if it's been posted.

EDIT:

If these results are even remotely accurate, Fetterman is in a really good position this late in the game.

Wow those are some embarrasing #s for the GOP, yikes.

If that D4P poll is anywhere correct, this is the time for Lamb to start airing ads. With 3 months to go, it's still basically based on name recognition. Kenyatta doesn't appear to have the $$ to do so but Lamb can. Though tbh i haven't seen ads for any of the Dem contenders but I have for Oz, McCormick, etc.

I was just thinking about this last night at the gym. I saw a pretty much nonstop cycle of Oz and McCormick ads, but I've never seen an ad for a Dem on TV, on Youtube, etc. Plenty on FB and IG and whatnot, but good old fashioned TV ads work, especially in a contentious primary.

I am very concerned about Kenyatta's low fundraising #s. Some of the groups endorsing him (WFP, Collective PAC, Brand New Congress, etc.) may be putting in an outsized amount of effort on his behalf, but how sustainable is that strategy especially as we close in on the primary date?

It was a SMS text to web poll. Not to be taken seriously at all.

If this was a Prez yr where we can risk Kenyatta with higher turnout then it could of been the Nominee, it's risky to nominate Kenyatta, bit not in WI Barnes has a higher profile Obama endorsed Barnes for Lt governor and Obama endorsed Ossoff, Warnock and Abrams where is Obama endorsement of Kenyatta

I am not sure about the Lamb numbers I think it's close between Fetterman and Lamb, and Lamb wins if Kenyatta dropped out

A poll for a statewide primary 3+ months out is pretty worthless regardless of methodology. Better to just look at fundraising, COH and where money is being spent at this point.

So do we have any real polling (IE not a DFP SMS survey) saying that this race has closed at all?

Maybe I missed it, but it sure feels like people are just working off of assumptions based on endorsements and other such not actually that determinative factors.

Small brain: All the candidates in PA-Sen will be normal, loyal Democrats, unlike Sinema

Normal brain: Lamb is a Kyrsten Sinema Democrat because he will say anything and everything to get elected and will compromise to appease his donors

Big brain: Kenyatta is a Kyrsten Sinema Democrat because of his previous criticism of progressives on Twitter

Galaxy brain:

I mean, I agree that Fetterman has been kind of a political opportunist, but calling him "another Sinema"(Huh) because he "ditched Bernie in '20"(Huh) is just an absolutely smooth brain take.

Especially pulling for Kenyatta, who was one of Biden's earliest and most vocal supporters in PA...

Fetterman will get Blk Support with Josh Shapiro he was leading Oz 44/42 and he isn't Sinema he is against the Filibuster it won't matter because Tim Ryan supports ending the Filibuster and that race since Gibbons will be nominated isn't over in OH

What is that even in reference to?
Also Fetterman dropped two ads this morning I think these are the first he's released since he announced his run 11 months ago. They're pretty strong and impressive IMO.

We now have Lamb's brother attacking one of PA's premier labor economists, and someone who has been instrumental in the nationwide fight to raise the minimum wage.

Occasionally, the mask slips. My apologies to Manchin - at least him and his thugs don't regularly attack labor economists as political hacks for not kissing his ring.

Maybe he had a moral right to write this because of a dirty, lying attack on his brother, didn't you think about it?
