A lot of this boils down to are people comfortable with a woman expressing her sexuality. For a lot of people in this thread comparing a consensual act in a heterosexual marriage to a man cheating on his wife or a woman sleeping with her subordinate the answer seems to be no.

Like I said, how this goes down will say more about the voters than the woman herself.

Update: Apparently she exposed herself to a hotel employee delivering something to her door in one of the videos, without prior consent or knowledge that an adult film was being made.  If it’s confirmed that actually happened, it changes things significantly.  That would be sexual harassment (of the hotel employee) and she should drop out immediately if verified.

To what extent will the average voter even remember this when they go into the voting booth ? Campagin scandals have been having increasingly little effect on down-ballot races. It's a swing district so even a marginal difference matters but I doubt it's a killer.

IIRC it was either the Free Beacon or the Daily Wire that first broke the news of Northam's KKK yearbook photos. This stuff is easily verifiable. Just because an outlet on the other "side" was the first to report it doesn't mean it's false. You don't need to convince me to vote for her, I still would if I lived in the district. However, this is a thing that a lot of people would care about. Making porn isn't exactly a socially acceptable or popular profession.

She and her husband have intentionally and knowingly humiliated themselves and by extension, at the very least, they've displayed an extreme lack of sensitivity for their children's futures.

Why should it matter? No laws were broken and it was consensual. None of this has any bearing on her ability to be a legislator. In Europe no one would care about nonsense like this.

I'd have expected that as the baseline anyway just because the district was Youngkin +3, and she isn't an incumbent, but I won't pretend to be an expert on the area at all; someone more knowledgable can step in here and correct me.
