Good Question

Why are those idiots on Facebook convincing people that covid 19 represents the end times from the book of revelations and the vaccines are the mark of the beast

When as you yourself just correctly pointed out that we have experienced worse pandemics in the past...

Yeah, it's clear this poll is junk.

Not just because "I don't like it" but this doesn't add up to anything else we've seen. YouGov has had Biden's favorability pretty consistently at like -5-7 recently (and Trump being -15-17)

Yes, it was my point. roxas compares today's situation with 1970 and 1930 and wonders, why people are mad.

NJ polls that showed a race under 6% were junk, because they showed Biden underwater.
VA polls that showed Youngkin's win were junk, because they showed Biden deeply underwater.

Biden also won VW and NJ by double digits because Mark Warner and Cory Booker won them by double digits, I think the polls were following the 20odek too but VA is fine in 24 for Biden and NJ Bob Menendez and Tom Kaine are gonna win by Landslide and perhaps we get Bobby Scott to run in 2025 against Seats, Terry was also a retread

The only one wondering about something like that is you

I have been very clear about what I think when comes to the current situation and in imultiple post in the past, I have had specifically acknowledged that inflation is an issue, but I am simply no longer convinced that inflation is what is hurting Biden and the Dems the most right now

To be blunt, I think social media is fundamentally changing how Americans view everything from the pandemic to the economy. Increasingly, I don't think it matters anymore how the economy is really doing. Even if tomorrow we had low gas prices and inflation I still think a lot of people would think the opposite simply Because of something they saw on Facebook

What scares me the most in 2021 is that because of the rise Facebook and other social media platforms I no longer think it's even possible to completely eradicate a virus like we did with Polio in the past

One trend I've noticed with these polls is that Republicans are more united in their opposition to Biden, then Democrats are in their support for him. And a majority of Independents disapprove. The Republican base has always possessed an intense dislike of Biden-just as intense as their dislike for Obama and Clinton. Democrats, on the other hand, are much more reluctant, and there are a good number of progressives who believe Biden hasn't been proactive enough.

The South supported Nixon during Watergate, that's what happens when you keep posting below 50 polls forever, you believe everyone is against Biden, they're not the insurrection South whom have supposedly Evangelical plasters support Trump

Russian bear doesn't believe it's a 304 map Biden didn't win 60/40 he won 50/45 and by 2022 and 2024 Biden will be near 52 Approvals

The South is against Biden the Northern states like IL, CA, NY, VA, NJ aren't against Buden

For some reason, Suffolk has always had a weird R lean in their polls.

These Approvals don't matter until Aug 22 and if Biden Approvals aren't 50/ they will be by 24 enough to beat Trump

Biden isn't a criminal like Trump he is crooked he is giving 450K to Immigrants and won't give us a targeted 1400 check and the Stimulus comes out of our own FICA TAXES WE PAID FOR ITS BOT TYE GOVT MONEY, that's why I am considering a blank ballot for Gov 22 this is Newsom last term anyways but he is Fav due to LA Mayor race is taking place with Gov race, he will win, but he got everyone excited over that 600 stimulus

TRUMP IS A CRiMINAL, HE USED TRUMP TOWERS TO GET RISSIA TO GET DIRT ON HILLARY IMPEACHED TWICE, he USED HIS FOUNDATION IN A CRIMINAL ACT

We don't know about VR, there is no excuse for D's not to change the rules on a carve out after Govt is funded

HUNTER Biden JUST LIKE WHEN RS CONTROLLED THE SEN WILL BE INVESTIGATED BY Mccarthy if the Rs take the H he isn't above the Law

If the approval number for President  Biden get close to to 50-50, then we will soon see individual state polls inconsistent with what is here. Obama got about a 7% boost after getting Osama bin Laden whacked, which didn't change much in American lives but made most of us feel good.

Connecticut and Maryland don't get polled often, so when we see a poll for Michigan (which does get polled often) in which Biden is up 51-47 in approval numbers we will ask "how is the map so apparently wrong for Connecticut"? It will be a distinction between an old poll and a new one.

Lower support among Democrats is at least a small part of Biden's low approvals. Interesting contrast with the Trump strategy. Trump had rock solid approval with his base throughout, and they showed up for him both elections, the key was getting enough independents on his side. Biden also has to court independents, which he did successfully in 2020, but he still has to make sure "base" voters are engaged, black voters, young voters, etc.

Biden has lost approvals among his base because D's thought they were getting Doug Jones in Merrick Garland,Trump is still free able to influence the 2022/ Elections, Garland is a big part of it

D's aren't gonna get much further in Jan 6th Commission because all the witnesses are asserting the 5th or defying the supenoas.
But, the Election was sca ye, anything can happen if you keep focusing on negative polls , both parties are crooked they get you excited to donate to their campaign that's all they do both D's and Ra

Sorry pbower2A, D's aren't gonna get Bannon to testify, the  Election. Will be here and Stonewall the Commission it's over with Jan 23

I expect Steve Bannon et al to do exactly what Mafia dons did before the Kefauver Committee in the 1950's; say nothing except to plead the fifth amendment. The mobsters well knew that lying to Congress would get them prison time.

There's a big difference: the mobsters had no obvious connections to partisan politics.

Adults: 48/52 (50/49 in early October)
RV: 45/54

http://cdn.cnn.com/cnn/2021/images/11/08/rel7a.-.politics.pdf

Sign of a shift, closer to late-summer (September) reality? I'm saying nothing so far. Completion of a map is a valid exercise.

Nope. Biden got all-time low. The trend is still awful. -5 shift among Adults, and -9 points shift among RV since October.

Adults:
48 (-2 since OCT 7-11, 2021)
52 (+3)

RV:
45 (-5)
54 (+4)

And as the poll states, the demographic most dragging down Biden's performance in this poll is actually young voters, which we've seen in many polls now. Funny enough, if young voters 'approved' the same way that they vote (obviously big D advantage), Biden's approvals would be fine right now, but young voters are clearly disillusioned at what they see as not enough progress on the things they care about
