In “Upon a Cross of Globalism” Tucker secures the GOP nomination.

Discuss if he would run IRL. Very popular with the Trump base of the GOP.

No way.  He does not have the right personality for it.  Also he is a registered Democrat.

So was the current president.

He was a registered democrat in order to vote in the DC mayoral primaries. Now he's a registered republican in Florida.

I think his Fox News show is too lucrative for him to consider a run, but much stranger things have happened in this year alone. If he did somehow run, he would have a better chance than most candidates at inheriting the die-hard Trump base since he is a political outsider who is more populist on economic issues than the vast majority of elected Republicans.

I think that he'd rather just keep doing what he's doing. His show is extremely popular.

I just can't see Tucker pulling off the Trump crowd more than one of the Trump sons, or seasoned Trumpy politicians like Tom Cotton, could.

I don't know but he said he always votes for the more corrupt candidate over the idealist in order to favor the status quo and stem progressivism.

At least that's what I read on wikipedia which in turn got it from a Business Insider article.

Lol I wish he would use his powers for good, he's obviously a lot smarter than the average GOP hack

I don't think he'll run, but if he did he would win the nomination and the general election quite easily.

He's been my predicted GOP nominee since like 2017, I assume if he runs he will win the nomination and a decent chance he wins the presidency too.

He’s probably got more than Tom Cotton or Josh Hawley or the Trump kids. Although he’s gotta do something about that “eternally constipated” expression of his.

This is a man who thought a bow tie was a good look. I’m not sure he even knows it’s a problem.

Tucker has an extremely punchable face and is way more smarmy than Trump, who was legitimately charismatic in his own deranged way.

Tucker is like 2020s Father Coughlin for the 70-80 year old set - extremely dangerous to American society, but he won't be President.

Tucker is a huge dork who does not have the "regular guy speaking his mind" appeal that Trump had with his base in rural America. I could still see Tucker winning the primary but he will not win the general.

Many, many people have run for President primarily to sell books or get on TV more (including the outgoing President — I remember the "Trump TV Network" discussion in 2016).

Carlson would put Fox in a very awkward situation if he ran for public office. I doubt he does it and, honestly, he's arguably more powerful as a commentator than he would be as a politician. I don't think a Fox News host can get elected nationally and I don't think Carlson has the right personality or celebrity to get away with replicating the unique appeal of Trump.
