I don’t know why - I’ve been a dimmer this whole race but was turning that tcornwr the last few weeks but now all of a sudden today I have dread. I think today is a tossup and a trump win is not out of the question at all. I’d call it a true tossup. I think the early vote numbers are whatever - they’re just the same Dem votes must cast earlier due to the anti Trump sentiment and the pandemic.

And I think the senate is simply not happening. It’s broke the GOP Way in the last few days and I’d bet $100 easily that we don’t even get a 50/50 split.

This is not an argument and never has been. It's a convenient way for Biden hacks to ignore anyone who raises concerns about election day.

Bernie lost. Get over it.

Oh for f**k's sake . . .

Anytime someone has raised concerns about Biden's chances, the response invariably is "DoOmER!!!!" without any attempt made to engage their concerns.

You guys aren’t raising concerns. You are just concern trolling and outright ignore any positive data.

It is bad faith through and through.

Exactly. The post in question is just speculation with nothing to back it up. Excuse us if we feel we don’t have to respond in good faith

All these stressful takes are totally forgetting that Biden is preforming extremely well with independents in the polling

LOL this is Florida.

It shouldn’t even have been a tossup. NC I can understand but anyone who thinks Biden is touching FLA or GA really needs... a diffrent hobby

Oh my god, I hope you cry when Biden wins GA and FL

In that fantasy land I’d cry tears of joy but .. if you think that’s happening you genuinely need a new hobby. I can see TX or NC happening if Biden pulls out some miracle. But GA and FLA are GONE.

Your obsession with Red GA is beyond concerning

I was told that #RepublicansforBiden meant Biden had Florida in the bag.

Do you not understand that voter registration is not who you vote for?

Per CNN: Trump indicates that he doesn’t have a victory speech or concession speech prepared.

Didn’t Trump not have either in 2016? And Hillary didn’t have a concession speech too

My apologies if already posted, but seems that JOMD and the team are projecting a good amount of confidence in early numbers in relation to how many paths they've built for Joe.

If I'm pulling for Joe I'd keep an eye on AZ + GA + TX + OH + IA + NV + MI + WI. Seems like these, though not all are equally important, will be the keys to a win.

This sounds like the language of a campaign which is losing Florida and Pennsylvania.

Lol. You sound like someone who will be losing a lot of money on PredictIt

There's like 10 conflicting reads of the data here but it sounds less DOOMERY than an hour ago.  Must mean the numbers are looking better for Biden.

For me I just need some idea of what this or that statistic that's being dropped means as this is the first time I've watched the election day vote and it gets aggravating when I'm told to just read 25 pages as if I have the time to do that rather than a quick explanation

Maybe I’ll make a doomery tracker: number of doom posts on the last 5 pages

Edit: excluding R partisans, only 2 (this includes the joeisdone.github post)

50% of voters chose coronavirus, racial issues and health care policy as their priorities. Not bad for Dems

Bad for Trump.

By the way, these voters will be the first who will be laid off in a Biden recession.

Or in a Trump recession.

There won't be a Trump recessions, partly because Trump is going to lose. But you can bet on a Biden recession.

There already is a Trump recession

Had Trump been re-elected, the economy would have rebounded like never before.

Wtf?

Biden has as much control over what's going on as you or me. Also why hasn't the economy rebounded like never before already?

Guys, why are you all saying "the exit polls are trash!" and then you turn around and discuss them?

This has been the best 4 year period of my life and I’ve grown nothing but more liberal in that time. I’m now on path to have a very lucrative career in a few years here. I’m not going to let a few percentages on a tax bill ruin this country for everyone else.

Just wait and see what Biden's policies will do to this country.

Actually if you could warn us in advance that would be nice. What policies, ljube, and what will they do?

CNN NC exit poll showing Trump with a +2 approval, but whites at only 63%. The 2016 NC exit poll was 70% white/30% nonwhite. It's 63% white/37% nonwhite this time but still has Trump at +2 approval... not sure how you square that

The answer is exit polls are trash

I don't know how others feel but as a Biden voter, I am feeling a sigh of relief that we aren't seeing Biden melt down in the rural areas and they are actually swinging Democratic by much more than I would have expected!

It’s going to be like watching porn a month from now to see all the rural counties swinging Atlas red once we get the final results up in the database.

Ahhhhhh I've been waiting for this

It's really early (polls haven't even closed in all of Kentucky), but Mitch McConnell is doing surprisingly well right now.

He leads Amy McGrath 63-33, while Trump leads 68.5-30%

Literally the only piece of election news about a Republican doing well I want to hear. Amy McGrift deserves humiliation.

As opposed to McConnell??

Anyone else getting nervous? Not in the "Well sh**t Trump will win now" way but just it's here, this is the real deal, there's no going back, its not like with bad polls where if things go wrong we can't have another poll a day or two later as encouragement

Couldn't have said it better myself

Don't get carried away. Results in the most complete county so far at 93% (Robertson County, KY) so Trump doing ever-so-slightly better than in 2016.

Oh no an extra 7 votes to Trump!

In all seriousness though, you're right. We need to wait until the results are more complete.
