Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't PA counties already doing that? Also, it's my understanding that no post-11/3 ballots have actually been counted so Biden's current lead in the state is built off of ballots cast by poll closing time on 11/3.

Yes that is correct. There are no post-11/3 votes in the count yet. Counties that have counted them have purposely set them aside and not included them in current totals. Also, apparently the post 11/3 ballots are negligible.

So essentially make Trump think he's getting what he wants while not actually changing anything

So I know networks aren't going to call Georgia because it's going to a recount anyway, but call PA/AZ/NV ffs.

So in regards to those Georgia military ballots...

Trump is not as popular among servicemembers as people think AND a lot of us don’t vote because of the hassle associated with requesting and returning military absentee ballots.

Their job is war and Trump did more to end war then any president of the past 80 years.
Correction, their job is being committed towards protecting the values of our country. For all your veneration of police officers, the military are the biggest patriots of them all. Unlike the police officers in many areas, these servicemen go through a rigorous training process and are held to international law. They aren't perfect, but they are damn better than the trumpist keyboard warriors who have never done a damn thing for this country in their life. Military still skews Republican afaik, but they swung heavy against the traitor in office this year, unlike some self-proclaimed but fake patriots.

Besides, do you think the military does not exist during times of peace?
Do you think people join the military because they want to bomb some Iraqis for fun?
If so, apply the same damn standards to the police you worship or shut the f**k up.

this is actually getting atrocious.  there is no excuse for places like Nevada to not count more timely.  and really there's no excuse to not call Nevada at this point.

yeah the fact that all NV could do is count like 8K votes all day... come on man

I agree with this. NV has been borderline appalling. AK and NC I don't know enough to comment, but could be the same.

Just from a basic functional perspective, some of these states have known the election was coming for months, and soon as it did and the votes came in, they basically stopped work.

It's like employing someone and on the first day they apply for annual leave.

So tonight's programming is:

AZ drop at 9 PM

Networks potentially making the AZ+NV call between 9-10 PM

Biden speech at 1130 PM

is that right?

And it looks like nobody's ever going to call Georgia because they're too afraid of military ballots?

Let's hope so.

That's a crazy spin since this was already requested and was being done, none have been counted yet despite their request to stop it and it's a negligee amount anyway. They didn't get anything. From Alito as well.

One more thing I'd like to add about NV. In PA, the Republican legislature (rightly) got blamed for not allowing mail votes to be processed ahead of time, although Wolf really should have issued an executive order. But NV is a Democratic trifecta.

Nevada is just a joke tier state. Let's be honest, it's only good for alcohol, stealing money from gambling addicts, and as a nuclear waste dumping ground.

The post-election day votes in PA aren't going to matter either way. All the reports say they have been super small.

I disagree with what the process Nevada went with too, but the Pennsylvania GOP went about their actions with the knowledge that Pennsylvania was ultimately what was going to determine the election. Even if Nevada was fully counted on election day, it wouldn't have settled the entire election like Pennsylvania would have, and is going to. Hell, that might actually have caused more chaos with the disparity between Arizona calls. Nevada would have made the difference then, but it would have been more controversial in determining the election as such.

Yep. At least 20K regular mail ins in Philly, plus at least 15-20K provisionals. That could net Biden 30-35K right there.

Allegheny has 30-35K left after those military ballots, and he could net 20-25K there. The rest is in Bucks and a smattering in the suburbs too. That could net Biden near a 100K lead in the end.

this # keeps on going up... first it was 200K left in AZ then 220K then 230K and now 243K? Even as we slowly count random counties...

also AZ SOS said about an hour or two ago on CNN that Maricop only had about 140K left.

Nevada has counted 92% of their ballots and Pennsylvania has counted 96%.  There are tons of states that have counted far fewer than this.  California has only counted 77%, and Maryland has only counted 70%.

We aren’t dumping on CA or MD right now because we knew long ago who won the race there.

But the thing is, we’ve also known for a while who won the race in PA and NV.  At this point, the delay in the process is almost entirely the fault of the media for refusing to acknowledge reality and not the election administrators in those states.

Someone said NC seemed to update on NYT. If it's at 76.6K, that's... literally where it was before. I don't think they're updating until next week
