Clark only reported 14k new mail votes, Biden won by 30%, they still have about 65k mail-in votes to count.

I’ve seen enough: Biden wins NV.

Now he just needs to win AZ or GA and it’s over even without PA.

If all of the Clark vote is mail, then it seems like Biden will net a healthy lead from it.

All votes outstanding from Nevada are either provisional ballots or mail-ins, I believe. I think they're done counting election day

It would certainly be something if we end up about with the same result as 2016 in NV

Not to mention, the same exact electoral vote result as 2016, just in reverse.

Not to mention, the same exact way it happens: Biden pulls out narrow wins in a handful of states that all go his way.

Where's the big vote dump from PA?

Probably slowed down by that quick trip to the state supreme court.

So if Fox or AP calls Nevada for Biden, then that would put him at 270... if they prematurely called Arizona...

PA's big vote drop was likely delayed by them successfully appealing the decision to let Trump's people oversee the vote counting. I read on NYT that counting in Philly "resumed" after the state Supreme Court decided that.

America is like a third world country in terms of counting ballots. In Spain we cast over 24 million ballots last time and 99% were counted within three hours of polls closing. Why does it take so long?

What percentage of votes in Spain are vote-by-mail?

Probably delayed because the Democrats appealed the court order to the PA Supreme Court. Now that the lower court decision was overturned, counting/number reporting should resume.

The election night results are pretty clear at this point: Biden will be president, the Senate will be determined by two run-offs in GA, House Democrats lost seats (but not enough to lose the majority), pretty much nothing happened with governors (MT flipped from D to R), and Democrats had a pretty lousy year in the state legislatures.

I am surprised how badly Trump is doing in NJ

I thought NJ would trend R.....

Bad for the NJGOP

And Tom Kean Jr. is finished in politics.

The name Kean is ancient in politics now.

NV is ok.

Biden should just lose one of GA or AZ by 100 votes or so ...

Source on the PA vote count being paused? I don't see it anywhere. Is this just a misreading of the Allegheny County situation?

PA Supreme Court is 5-2 Dem. PA Governor is a Dem. PA SoS is a Dem.

Downballot elections matter. Imagine if Hillary had narrowly won in 2016, Dems lose ground in PA in 2018 instead of crushing it as they did, and now we have Republican administrators and state courts overseeing this process.

Okay, please catch me up as I've been in court all morning and I'm just taking a break for lunch.

1. WTF is happening regarding this lawsuit?

 2. To give the devil their due, no matter how much Republicans embrace the concept of voter suppression to retain power, I would be seriously concerned if a heavily populated republican-dominated county in an extremely closely contested election did not allow representatives of the democratic campaign to personally observe the recount. Someone mentioned watching it on stream, but that seems insufficient to try to see if there maybe double-dealing going on.

Or is there more to this than I'm missing? Are there already Republican Representatives already duly appointed by the state or County elections board inside The Counting Room I assume?

NJ will probably get a few points more Republican when they finish counting the ballots. But NJ is basically one giant suburb and the suburbs hate Trump.

Why would you think it would trend R?

I've been saying for months that Trump is the exact opposite of what New Jerseyans want. He's a terrible fit for the state - it's one big college-educated diverse suburb.

Can someone explain why these states out west slow down so much when counting ballots?
