Susan survives !

Ugh. Well, you can at least count on Collins and Murkowski going rogue on legislation votes.

And maybe on court vacancies should any arise.

Never forget Jo Jorgensen was the true winner of Ozaukee county.

Other than Trump, John James and Tim Scott are the two Republicans that piss me off the most. I really hope he loses so that it doesn't encourage that.

I think every Republican in the Congress is terrible, but you *really* have to not be paying attention if you think Tim Scott is even in the top half of the worst elected Republicans.

I am not saying he is objectively one of the worst Rs in the congress, I am talking about the Rs that I personally find most distasteful.

That's far too early from Gideon and I hope there isn't reason to regret it in the near future.

I don't see the point of this from Gideon. She should at least wait to see if RCV is triggered.

I agree, given that RCV has really changed the ballgame. Collins, while in a much better spot, is not out of the woods yet.

Looking at MI and PA, basically the red mirage happened in the Midwestern states. It looks like both on track to go Biden by 2-3%, maybe a touch more for PA if the absentee ballot returns continue at this 80%+ Biden pace.

The remaining vote isn’t Dem friendly

I really don't get people's thinking. At all. If you want a President Biden, which Maine did, you're not going to get anything out of it with a Senator Collins.

The weird thing is that it's ticket splitting specifically for Collins. Both Golden and Pingree seem to be fine.

So now the Democrats have to hope that Cunningham somehow squeaks out a win with the last batch of votes coming in and Ossoff either wins his seat or gets Perdue under 50% and have a runoff. So the Senate is not lost for the Democrats. This is a wild election, very 2020, I can't wait until the books, TV shows and movies come out about 2020.

Yeah, in addition to metro ATL, there's still votes out in the mid-sized cities and black belt counties. All Democratic strongholds.

With Muskegon County pretty much on a knife's edge tilting towards Trump for the whole reporting period, very curious about the final extent of the Mahoning Effect. No surprises here in Maryland, Biden breaks FredCo out of the Class of '64 as predicted in 2018 and puffs up a hair on the Eastern Shore, all expected stuff. Georgia is becoming a real nail-biter with so much from the metros and Sanford Bishop's country still outstanding.
There's outstanding vote from GA-02?

Collins is a disappointment but not a surprise given how easily Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern Dems can be convinced to vote for Reps who know not to say the quiet part loud. Maybe I should've realized that once Larry Hogan started stumping for her.

It would seem that way on the surface.  But perhaps people with more information on Maine know that the remaining vote is heavily Republican and that RCV won’t make a difference.

Well, since Trump is leading in ME-2, it looks like Golden is the beneficiary of ticket-splitting in that CD.

Is DataOrbital right that Trump will win Arizona with the remaining vote? I was really hoping Biden would take AZ. If PA and AZ go for Trump, it's over.

Places like Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont & Montana are notorious for their independent streaks.

Beautiful Susan Collins. Now we need Perdue and that would be it.
