With Muskegon County pretty much on a knife's edge tilting towards Trump for the whole reporting period, very curious about the final extent of the Mahoning Effect. No surprises here in Maryland, Biden breaks FredCo out of the Class of '64 as predicted in 2018 and puffs up a hair on the Eastern Shore, all expected stuff. Georgia is becoming a real nail-biter with so much from the metros and Sanford Bishop's country still outstanding.
There's outstanding vote from GA-02?

That's far too early from Gideon and I hope there isn't reason to regret it in the near future.
I agree, given that RCV has really changed the ballgame. Collins, while in a much better spot, is not out of the woods yet.

I'm actually glad to hear Collins wins. We need more moderate members in the Senate from both parties.

Dude she voted like 95% with Trump. She's as much a moderate as I am. F*** her and f*** the Democrats for blowing the election this hard.
stop conflating moderation and partisanship.

Quinnipiac should be delisted from 538.. they had Gideon up 12 points. lmao.
Yeah sure, almost all posters had very bad results there. Doesn't mean you delist them for such a miss.

Ah yes, so she only voted with Trump on his moderately far-right policies? And only voted for his moderately rapey judicial nominees?

Look bud, it's not my fault that you can't understand why moderate Republicans can still behave as rapid partisans on at least some occasions, especially in this era of unusually high levels of tribalism.

It's not isolated to that particular result.. their last national poll had Trump at 39%..

When exactly was their last decent election cycle in terms of accuracy ?
Not entire sure. But I know delisting from 538 is a very severe punishment that even polling misses in one or more races can't justify by itself.

Whitfield County, the most Latino county in all of GA, goes from 70-25 Trump in 2016 to 69-29 Trump in 2020. Par for course for what Biden needs to win GA.

Trump did net 1k votes from there btw.
That's true. Trump isn't in shabby shape there. I suppose both candidates have things they look to as good from the county's result, but Biden moreso than Trump.

Oh so she can still be a "moderate Republican" even if she behaves like a senile old hack who's never met a lobbyist she didn't love. Okay, got it. Thanks and congratulations on the overwhelming fruition of your "NeverBernie" strategy, the Democratic Party is now in an amazing spot.
Hackishness and moderation are hardly antithetical, and your views on the matter are wrong. In "moderate Republican", when analyzing how they'd likely vote, the key part is usually "Republican", and "Republican" usually implies voting for the Republican candidate because they are the Republican. As for the "NeverBernie" stuff, I'm not going to give dignity to the rest of your comments at this time by providing a response.

Obviously all votes aren't in yet so not making any final predictions but Trump is doing better in the Bronx than Manhattan
LOLOLOL.
Current numbers from DDHQ for NYC as a whole. (Ignores third party votes)
1,643,212 Biden (73.68%)
586,900 Trump

Possible but, on balance, quite unlikely, given how the remaining ballots are VERY pro-Democratic.

I would argue it is legitimately outright unacceptable for PA to be at 64% reporting today at 2:24 PM.

Ridiculous.
I agree that it is; its a shame that the GOP leg banned them from counting before 7 am election day.
In general I think we'd all be generally better off if we counted the ballots sooner.
Election Day 2024 needs to be better.

Huge chunk of the outstanding vote in AZ,MI,NV is heavily democratic.

Don’t know why people are saying Trump will win those states.
Incomplete vote tallies are a huge source of misconceptions about who will ultimately win the election, both on the forum and elsewhere.
