Lou Dobbs would be lucky to equal John Anderson's vote totals of 1980.

I don't know why everyone hates Dobbs. I am happy to know that there is one person on CNN telling it like it is. I'm glad to know that he is politically incorrect on the issues, this only shows that he is willing to say how he feels without the fear of offending people.

Dobbs = Freedom Fighter

I don't hate him, I'd just rather vote for Allen. And I'd even consider voting for him if he was a major party candidate.

Dobbs seems about in line with the Democratic Party of the 1870's, how can anyone support that lunatic?

I don't think that "people" are; it seems to just be Robert Stark. Smiley

I like him, but in reality he has insufficient experience to be President, anyway.

I don't know why everyone hates Dobbs.
He seems to believe that there are only two issues in the whole world: illegal immigration and "exporting America." Furthermore, he is merely a propagandist masquerading as a journalist; he manages to inject his personal opinions into practically everything, and does not even attempt to remain neutral.

A) He also discusses national security, voting machines, white house scandals and pretty much news in general. You should watch the show more often

B) Of course he is going to inject his opinion into everything, he isn't a journalist - he's a commentator.

Which makes him different from the rest of the so called media, how? Oh, I get it, you agree with the other memebers of the so called media, so they can't be propagandists.

Its impossible to sit through, especially once he starts his daily rant about "broken borders." It seems as if he cannot go one day without discussing this non-issue.

Not every member of the media is so clearly opinionated. Several individuals are somewhat more neutral.

Non-issue? Do you even watch the news? It's not just Dobbs, it's all over the place because it is a real problem.

Doesnt Bill O'Reilly manage to inject his personal opinion into everything, even when hes not on tv?

Lou Dobbs is a goof. He's the guy who said that flags of other countries shouldn't be seen in public.

Yes, Lou Dobbs is a crazy bigotted Republican, but he's still better than most of the members of the so called media.

Bleh. He turned into a whiny baby when Perot beat him in the 96' Reform Primary.

Haha.

Probably just an independent, mainly because the Reform Party is all over the gaff. I mean for Christ's sake, they ran RALPH NADER the election after they ran PAT BUCHANUN. What's the funniest part? They got more votes under Buchanun! I think the RP should just accept death and move on their way, because without Ross Perot, they are just a peice of paperwork.

You must consider why they were nominated. In 2000, the party was basically taken over by the far right, who wanted the money which Perot had secured for them with his 1996 run. By 04, the RP had declined to a state where nominating Nader was necessary to preserve ballot access.

The party has been serverely weakened, but I believe that if the party re-unites with other parties such as the ARP and the Independence Parties,  it has nowhere to go but up.
