Arrived. I have touched the Black Sea and gazed upon the post-Soviet palms.

We need to make election day a federal holiday, tbh. It's not like I'm going to be getting any work done.

Tonight, for the first time in months, I'm going to sleep at peace. Better yet, I'm blessed enough to get to do it in the arms of the woman I love.

What a night I got to share with all of you. Kiki

On November 1st, at 11:50 AM, my mother passed. I decided to return to this forum in part to distract myself, but she is loved and missed and I couldn’t keep her out of my mind for long. Always in my heart

In one of the most Altas-y things I'll probably ever do, I've signed up to be an exit poll volunteer for the AALDEF on election day. Very excited to do my small part to help fuel inane arguments on PG&D and Presidential Election Trends for the next two years!

This was fun! Definitely going to be making this a biennial thing.

Today I'm 28. But because life begins at conception, technically I'm 28 and 9 months.

Either way, here's to an entire decade of adulthood with nothing to show for it! And, either way, give me cake/presents/money.

With the RH status quo is gonna remain Border Wall, Obama and Boehner built 128 m and Trump did 400 m, WVA pipeline and Tax cuts permanent and probably no Student Loan Forgiveness, they say Crts we're waiting til after Midterms to Shelve Biden Student Loan Forgiveness

That's why you only hear Warren talking about results but Bernie whom wants 6T infrastructure is nowhere to be found, it's obviously, Ds nominated the wrong guy Bernie should of been Prez

Mi familia y yo vamos a México mañana.

We’re going for thanksgiving break - leaving tomorrow right after school and returning a week later. Excited because I’m learning Spanish in school (in Spanish 2 right now), and progressing well, so going to a Spanish speaking country will certainly be interesting and educational (Mexican is also one of my favorite cuisines).

Arrived in Mexico nearly two hours back. We have a stopover - still some hours to go before it’s over - then a short flight to Mexico City, where we stay till the coming Friday.

There are too many people in general in that state. And they're already infecting others, like Idaho.

Last night, at age 28, I officially lost my "bar virginity." Why have I never been to a bar before? None of your business actually, but life happened. But, I had a blast with a family friend in the area, who told me we would celebrate my birthday after a DC meetup with fellow Atlas olds which was scheduled around the time had been cancelled. We also saw a play earlier. First time I've been to a live show since literally middle school!

And we checked out the boats they decked out for the holidays!

For some reason, I couldn't find it! I thought that was the same boat until I saw the number. I do tend to pass by the Wisconsin quite frequently though.

But this was also an area of Norfolk I hadn't seen before. There's an Irish pub (the one we're pictured in) along with several other bars by this area, and the Little Theatre where we saw the show. I guess it's not stationed here, nor the USS John Warner which is closer to a neighborhood I lived in.
