I got a J&J booster. Not for money, but because all the cool girls I know did the exact same thing.

Not lusting, trying to fit in.

This year's Boxing Day Mummers play (look it up if you're not English) was a bit different. Blackface is allowed again after being banned last year and the Doctor gave the knight a booster jab.

I got COVID. Somehow, I’ve avoided getting it this whole time until now. I’m actually feeling pretty well though, not any worse than getting a common cold. Seems like omicron is blowing through these vaccines but is much more mild.

It's a chain?  I remember one of those, but it closed down years ago.

hey guys so I'm trying to plan a basically off-grid vacation next year, my wife and I really would like to visit Alaska, but we aren't sure where to go. We basically want to stay somewhere very remote where we can rent a cabin and "unplug" to just sort of just explore the outdoors for a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure where in Alaska is best for that.

I was also considering maybe Kootenai National Forest or Glacier National Park in Montana, if either of those might be better. Anybody have any experience with these areas or have any ideas?

Try Kodiak, but I've heard good things about Sitka too. Denali is apparently really beautiful too.

I don't like taking other people's thunder but, to credit CraneHusband and that otherwise
useless Kentucky poster, I think I'm gonna cut back, and possibly even take a break from this place right at the new year.

While I'm already online far too much for non-productive reasons, this place is probably the worst offender.

He who laughs has the last laugh and the thing about it a D Trifecta with a carve out will give Reparations for Blks and Reform the Bankruptcy Reform Bill to allow Discharging

Rs would block it, Bush W passed in 2005 Bankruptcy reform bill

Got my booster dose with my friend. I went to a walk-in community clinic - strangely enough this was a city-staffed community walk-in, pop-up clinic offering boosters - but it is not advertised or publicized anywhere on the city/public health website (and public health made a point of saying that they're not doing walk-ins for boosters), and my friend and I only found out about it from a Facebook post of an old high school teacher of ours who shared a picture of a notebook with upcoming vaccine clinic hours written down by hand. Others in line also found out through similar word-of-mouth/Facebook, so it's a well-kept secret for whatever reason. Oh, public health, you're a bunch of strange puppies.

The precipitation in the Iberian Peninsula's largest nation comes down predominantly on the flat, open areas.

Got my booster inside of a disused lavatory with a sign on the outside saying ‘beware of the Leopard’.

My dumbass f**king coworker showed up to work yesterday with COVID. She knew she was symptomatic, she knew her family tested positive, and she showed up to work with the rona anyway.

I'm as thrilled as you can imagine.

Most employers in this area suddenly changed their policy in the last week to make this the norm/expectation. Which is ridiculous from the perspective that people deserve legitimate sick time. May be shocking to hear that this includes a medical facility.
