States you associate with posters

I thought this might be a fun experiment to try. I don't know about you guys, but after staring at these stupid colored outlines of states all day, I start to associate states with posters. So I thought it might be interesting if I started with a blank MS Paint map and filled in each state corresponding with the color and poster who I most associate it with. Here is my map:



For some of these states, I couldn't think of any posters (people who've been on here longer than me will probably have an easier time of it). With some others, I'm pretty sure that poster is no longer using that particular avatar/color combo, but it's still how I think of them. On my map, the Red Avs win a narrow plurality as the first color I think of when I think of each state.

Eighteen red avs, eight socialists, eight blue avs, seven independents, six others, two constitutions, one libertarian.

Some have changed avatars, some no longer post here or have been banned, but I think most of these are current.

Also could not make a pick for D-NJ, there are too many of them to remember lol (No offense to you all. Some of you are quite good, I just find it hard to remember who's who lol). For D-MD I couldn't pick; all four of the posters I named are good people and friends. Was able to get at least one per state; ND was the closest I was to leaving a state blank.

Chicago: Not sure I've ever seen somebody with Chicago

I believe Mr. Illini is currently sporting a Chicago avi; I used to before I moved out west. Among our other IL posters, RINO Tom definitely lives in Chicago at the moment (but IIRC he has some family connections downstate, so the IL avi makes sense); Roll Roons also lives there but I assume is a university student. I think whitesox130 and Green Line are somewhere in the burbs. Rather infamously, grAssroots used a Chicago avi for a while despite living in the north suburbs.

PSOL and Green Line are both I-ILs and live in Chicago as well IIRC. I used to have a CHI avatar, but I like the look of the IL one better (especially paired with green) so I changed back. Mr. Illini suits the D-CHI avatar well, though.

Pretty sure DC Al Fine actually lives in Halifax. He is certainly Canadian.

We also have British Columbia (HagridOfTheDeep, mileslunn), Quebec (Poirot, RogueBeaver, MaxQue), and I think I have seen a bloke from Manitoba but I don't know who that is.

Your semi-ironic-but-actually-it-kinda-makes-sense Prince Edward Island avatar is still one of the coolest on here by the way.
