Great, this will come out Sunday and whatever horrible mistake he made will dominate the headlines for the final week.

Pardon my ignorance but is there something special about this journalist that makes Trump's attacks so reprehensible?

It's that he's being a hypocrite and suddenly cares about masks after spending the entire year saying they aren't needed, in order to distract from his awful interview that he stormed out of

I wonder what he was asked that sent him off the deep end. Any intel on what triggered our little snowflake in chief?

If you have a problem with everyone, the problem is not with everyone.

Great, this will come out Sunday and whatever horrible mistake he made will dominate the headlines for the final week.

Not to mention whatever kind of inevitable implosion he has at the debate. Hell, this might even overtake that in the news by Monday.

GOOD! Had he met more defeat in life maybe he would have turned out to be a person with even a modicum of decency.

This is certainly great marketing by Trump to tune in this Sunday night to 60 Minutes.

Trump couldn't even pretend to smile after the interview. But at least he has nothing to worry about now at the next debate?

Any chance CBS can run this like Thursday?

I personally would rather watch this than the debate.

At least it can't be worse than Prince Andrew's interview.

Right?

Sad boy is sad.

It's possible that we're reading too much into it, but Trump loves nothing more than his supporters. If he's so upset that he couldn't even bask in their worship, then this 60 Minutes thing must've been really bad.

Keep in mind, though, Trump has a distorted view of what is good and bad so it could just be something superficial that won't matter much, but may be embarrassing to him. We'll see.

I think it’s all an act.

He’s a reality tv star and he knows how to create chaos to get people interested in watching.

I disagree. Trump can't put on a facade successfully, at least not anymore.

At the same time, though, I'm surprised CBS opted to send 78-year-old Lesley Stahl to talk to a recently-discharged COVID patient at the site of the recently-held super-spreader event where said COVID patient was likely infected, while they sent 46-year-old Norah O'Donnell to talk to the campaign that's been putting every safety precaution (& then some) into place forever now. You'd think it'd be the other way around given Stahl's membership of a higher-risk group.

78 year old journalist interviewing 74 year old President who is trailing a 78 year old challenger.

It's like everyone who was born in the 1940s got together and formed a pact to never ever retire.

I've always found Leslie to be a fair interviewer, who I remember mostly for her non-political stories on 60 Minutes, maybe with a slightly Trump-friendly tilt. Not a heavy hitter, in my mind, and not one who I would have expected to lead Trump to walk out.

She's had a LONG reputation of being a tough interviewer.

In 1988, George H. W. Bush got out of a tough interview with Dan Rather and said "He makes Leslie Stahl look like a pussy!" Which...was poor wording. That was 32 years ago now.

He's a P.T. Barnum-type showman, yes. But he's an awful actor. His reality tv persona was the result of lots of editing and lots of footage, not his acting chops.

Trump didn't really win in 2016, Portman, Johnson, Rubio, Grassley, McCain and Burr won for him, especially McCain in AZ. Portman was losing the whole campaign in OH until Strickland said Scalias death was good for America and Toomey ran against McGinty instead of Sestak and Grassley got Partty Judge, that's why he is losing so badly in 2020. All you have to do is go over our predictions in 2016, Strickland has alot of D's predicting a victory and McGinty

Not for lack of trying, I'm sure.

I see what you did there.
